Shaolin Warriors

A week ago today I went to watch the exhilarating stage performance of the Shaolin Warriors at Her Majesty's Theatre. Accompanied by eight of my friends, it was a fantastic night out. Siew Yum and Kam had wanted me to organise this at the very last minute and when I took the initiative to do so, they both bailed out on me. Lucky I have friends. The performance was spectacular. Ball Breaker and Mr S were not terribly excited about it. Then again, what would two Aussies understand about Chinese martial arts. I guess Ball Breaker was just disappointed the crew didnt pick her out of the crowd to demonstrate on stage. The performers only picked males out from the crowd. Were they afraid of an impending sexual harrassment lawsuit? Traditionally and culturally, monks are not allowed to touch women, so maybe that was it. You should've seen Ball Breaker try her best to get their attention everytime they came down to the crowd to pick a member of the audience. No luck. Some of the performers were rather cute too. Well, not that any of us were actually there to look at hot men *wink*. We were very commited to this energetic performance. Well, except for Swing Sister that is. In the heat of the spiritually intoxicated atmosphere, she managed to scrutinise the stage for performers with a large package. STOP! This was a well choreographed martial arts show, not a Chip and Dale performance. Why was Swing Sister looking down there??? She is too funny.

The performance incorporated alot of Buddhist chanting, martial arts demonstrations and even a solo act by a little boy no more than 10 years old. Why this kid has chosen a life to remain in the Shaolin temple is anyone's guess. He may even grow up to be the head abbot of the Shaolin temple one day. And we can claim to have witness his truly inspiring performance. I would recommend that you go witness this show yourself but the troupe is probably half way across the globe now. Unfortunately they only had 10 shows here and surprisingly the one we went to last week was packed out. The only thing disappointing about the show was there wasnt enough props. Not as much knife throwing as I had hoped to see. There was one solo act that stunned me though. A young man, no more than 21 had such acrobatic flexibility that he could put his knees behind his ears. But the stunning part was that he was so flexible that I'm not kidding, he could literally lick his own balls. Eeewww.... But it was amazing to see it live.

Happy Birthday

It's Ball Breaker's birthday today. Happy birthday sweetie. Reminded her yesterday to email everyone and thank them for the Chanel voucher she got as a gift. The scrag emailed everyone with a special thank you to a selected few, but not me! And I was the one who organised the whole damn voucher for her. My best friend has officially lost her mind. She's lucky I'll forgive her this time. And then, I sms-ed her this morning to wish her happy birthday and I got no reply. When she did call me, her response was "well, you werent the first to sms me". Ok then. Forgive me for feeling down, but I thought I was her best friend and should atleast deserve some kind of response. How insensitive of me. Maybe it's how insensitive of her!!! Enough rubbish, after all "Insensitive" is our theme song. We have to live up to it somehow I guess....

Oh, and a happy birthday to Mr S too who celebrated his birthday on Sunday. Another year older, another year none the wiser! I'm counting on you to organise this trip to Europe. Make me proud!

Australia Day Long Weekend Part II

Had lunch on Saturday at Belgian Beer Cafe for Mr S's birthday. Was a very gloomy, wet and windy day. We spent most of the afternoon indoors, which meant no smoking :-( Ball Breaker didnt make it for lunch cos she was at The Australian Open women's final game. Lucky bitch! She did however, join us for a few drinks later on in the day. Miss Y had lunch with us and was very curious about The Terrorist. She wanted to know explicit details of this affair. She wanted to know dimensions, she wanted to know the ins and the outs. VB didnt make it. Apparently he had to attend a "mini olympics" event with the Korean boys. I do vaguely remember him saying he cracked his rib a couple of days ago. So, how he's going to do this sports day event is anyone's guess really. November Cleo came to join us for lunch and drinks. Even HYC was there. The boys had ordered two shots of some potent concoction from the bar for both Mr S and Ball Breaker but Ball Breaker was adamant she wouldnt be touching it. But there was a saviour to the rescue. The alcoholic, namely November Cleo had no issues downing the whole shot for Ball Breaker. I dont know if I can say that was really nice of her, or that she's just a plain alcoholic and can never refuse a drink, any drink!

We went on to hang out at Cutey's apartment and played gin rummy. I must've had the worse seat in the house that day. I was down to my last dollar but never fear. I managed to salvage myself to come back and draw even for the day. Poor November Cleo and Swing Sister. No such luck for them! Mr S, Swing Sister, Ball Breaker and HYC left to go to another party after Cutey's. They had to attend a D & D party at Dr Scot's apartment. As for November Cleo and myself, we hung around Cutey's till 9pm before heading home. Cutey was desperate for us to show up at Blvd. Apparently she gets really bored by herself there and needed company for the night. November Cleo and I didnt decide to go till 11pm that night. It was a good night at Blvd. We hung out upstairs with The Giant and Cutey most of the night. And OMG, The Giant spoke to me (again). Well, atleast this is justification that he does know who I am. As Cutey promised, we didnt have to spend a cent all night. Bumped into 007 and his cousin at Blvd too. We hung out a bit with them in the R & B room. Saw a really old friend Dreadlocks. I didnt even know he was back from Thailand. Apparently, he's been back in Melbourne for over two years. The best news I've heard though is that he now works in Cookie Bar! Woohooo....and he did mention to look out for him next time I go there, so he can give me free drinks. What a bonus!

After Blvd, I had wanted to go home but November Cleo had to nurse a hunger pang and insisted we drop by to Dr Scot's house for some food. Well, it was a D & D party not a DDF party. So, I told her there may not be any food there apart from coke. She still insisted on going, so we headed down there and when we got there, everyone was pretty much off their face. Even Starfish was there. Ball Breaker couldnt stop talking all night. I thought she mellows down on the lollies? The Terrorist was there too, terrorising at his best. From what I heard he succeeded too. After the D & D party, everyone adjourned on to Revolver. November Cleo and I spent half an hour in the car arguing over if we should give the place a go or not. I was pretty adamant I didnt want to go. Mind you it was already 6am when we had this discussion. All I wanted to do was go home to bed! Secondly, Revolver is just not my scene. The music would've given me a headache. All November Cleo wanted to do was drink more. I swear she's a crazy bitch! In the end I won the battle and it was back to homesville.

I didnt get much sleep though cos Ball Breaker came over to my place at 11 in the morning. Boy, did she have good stories for me. She gave me the ins, the outs, the highs and the lows. Heard from Swing Sister that Revolver wasnt too good after all. Thank God November Cleo and I didnt go.

Australia Day Long Weekend Part I

What a big weekend it has been. Thursday night we started off by going to Shanghai Club karaoke for Ball Breaker and Mr S's birthday. Kam came along with Ball Breaker and myself. What a nice surprise to see him fit in with our crazy bunch. Actually, Kam came along expecting to witness a cat fight between myself and my number one fan. Was not to be. VB didnt grace us with his presence at all and Mr S was not very pleased. Well, he could've atleast called or dropped by for 10 minutes to wish them a happy birthday. Most people were not particularly fond of going to karaoke, especially Mr S. But Ball Breaker had insisted they have their birthday party there for a change of scene instead of going to Lavish all the time. What a fantastic night it turned out to be. Well, from what I remember, it was a good night. Bob and FF came with Plastic, his girlfriend and NCLover. There was quite an obvious segregation of the group, but I think Bob had a good time hogging the mike. Ball Breaker was a good sport to start off the singing, stripping and dancing. She's such a clown. She had ordered a bottle of white wine to start when we got to karaoke and we just continued drinking wine the whole night. Come to think of it, who the hell drinks wine at karaoke??? Because of this, Ball Breaker was driving the porcelain bus by 11.30pm! But this time around, she could actually get up and go back into the room to continue drinking. Even The Teacher was running for the toilet half the night. Her and Ball Breaker were like a tag team from the sink to the toilet (there was only one ladies toilet at karaoke). As for me, I was a total disaster. Dont get me wrong. I held it in quite well all night at karaoke. Didnt have any conversations with the toilet bowl at all. Thank God Hippo came to karaoke and gave Ball Breaker and myself a lift home, although it took us nearly an hour to get from Chinatown to Brunswick. No, no traffic, just 6 pitstops for me. The last time I got this wasted was on my birthday back in 2000. It must've been the cheap wine we were drinking. I'm convinced that was it. Either that or HYC spiked my drink!!! Well, I was drinking with him most of the night playing drinking games. On second thoughts, it must be him!

Ball Breaker and I woke feeling terribly seedy the next day. VB had spent the night at my place the night before. So, he couldnt make it to karaoke but ended up at my place. This was interesting. I was supposed to go to 007's bbq with November Cleo but ended going to KC's bbq instead. Korean bbq does wonders for a hangover. I felt rejuvenated after stuffing my face. Still couldnt bear the thought of more alcohol but the food was great. Ball Breaker and I were bad, we went to KC's, ate and went home for a nap. VB and TQ were at the bbq too. Miss J was picking on VB all afternoon. She went for lunch with him one afternoon to Ken San and he ordered 2 sushi rolls. Miss J wanted to order a Bento box but thought since VB's only having sushi rolls, she didnt want to wait for her order. So, she ordered sushi rolls as well. When they went to pay for the food, VB handed her $5 for his order and Miss J told him not to worry about it and that she was paying for lunch. VB then turned around and said that if he knew she was paying for lunch, he would've ordered a Bento box! Poor VB. But can you blame Miss J?

Found out that KC went to Manchuria on Thursday night and did not make it to Shanghai Club. That's interesting cos Manchuria is just down the road from Shanghai and he couldnt drop by to wish Mr S and Ball Breaker happy birthday? TQ was out of it all day. Apparently he partied with Mr S and Swing Sister on Thursday night at Seven and Revolver. These animals didnt get home till 10am! Cutey came to the bbq as well and brought one of her bottle girls with her. For the life of me, I couldnt understand a damn thing she was saying. She had like a Japanese/ Australian/ German accent. Ball Breaker and I were just nodding and laughing to everything she was saying. We couldnt work out what she was saying all day. While Cutey was eating, a bee decided to fly around her which made her jump with fear. That's not the funny part. She jumped so fast that she nearly landed on top of TQ. That's the closest I've ever seen her with a man!

After our power nap, honestly, Ball Breaker and I couldnt be f**ked to leave the house. But we did have to make an appearance at Bob's farewell in Golden Monkey. FF was delightfully happy to see us, I think. Well, she waved at me, does that count? November Cleo came to join us for drinks as well. I cant believe she went to Seven with the rest of the animals the night before. Even VB showed up to Golden Monkey which was a surprise. Just surprised that he didnt show up to Ball Breaker and Mr S's birthday at karaoke but has shown up to Bob's farewell. Plastic was telling me about his new house. He was trying to sell off his existing furniture and white goods. Apparently he had a fridge for sale and November Cleo was interested in buying it. He told her she could have it for $500 cos Ball Breaker had offered him $450. Hang on a second...did Ball Breaker offer him $450? Mr S and VB had a long, deep and meaningful conversation all night at Golden Monkey. Contrary to what he thinks, it's not four against one. Come on, we are all adults. Should we succumb to childish behaviours like this?

Ball Breaker, VB, Mr S, Swing Sister and myself moved on to Lavish after Golden Monkey. Thank God we did go cos Cutey had organised a table for us. She would've been mighty upset if none of us showed up. Bob was keen to go to Lavish initially but then remembered he had an early golf game the next day. Why would you organise an early golf game if you've organise your farewell party for the night before? Doesnt make sense. FF also had an outburst when we were talking about going to Lavish. She made it clear that Bob should stop blaming her for not going to Lavish. He can go if he wants and if he doesnt want to go, he shouldnt use FF as an excuse. November Cleo and I were totally freaking out when that happened. Stayed at Lavish till about 1.30am and called it a night. November Cleo stayed on with VVB and Sookie, the newly weds. Congratulations guys! From what I heard November Cleo partied on till 5am the next morning. Crazy bitch!

Insensitive

Just something a friend sent me recently and reminded me of how much I used to like this song. Maybe a reflection of my personality, maybe not. I think it's a clear reflection of the BBGGs. You know what I mean? Will be off to karaoke tomorrow night. Maybe Ball Breaker will perform this number for us....

Rocking At Eve

Had lunch with Siew Yum, Kam and Goofy on Friday down in Williamstown. We were planning an afternoon of food, booze and pool. But after the food and the booze, I was so not motivated to play pool. I was just happy to sit around, chat and drink my Sauvignon Blanc. And the plan now is to stick to NZ Sauvignon Blanc. As Siew Yum says, we are going through water restrictions and Melbourne has no more water. She overheard on the radio, some smart ass said that alcohol consumers are consuming all the water because they drink so much even though they are not thirsty. So, if we drink a NZ product, we wont be contributing to the shortage of water here. Well, any excuse really for wine. The plan was for me to have two glasses of wine and go home, get ready and head off to Eve. But Kam and Siew Yum are total trouble makers. One bottle after another. I ended up getting to Eve right on 8 o'clock. I was supposed to be there at 7.45pm. Not a bad effort considering I showered and got dressed in under 10 minutes!

Eve was rocking all night. Such a pity I had to work. The music was fantastic. They played a huge variety of tunes from Justin Timberlake to Sneaky Sound System to even New Kids On The Block. Can you believe that? They actually played "The Right Stuff" by NKOTB. What a trip down memory lane. Weather on the night was horrible though. It was so hot and humid, I nearly died in my little corner at the the cash registers. The biggest perk being in that position was I got to scrutinise the crowd as they walked in. So many good looking people, both men and women. There was a huge gathering of people from the media in anticipation of the tennis stars. I saw Nadia Petrova and Mario Ancic arrive in a Lamborghini. Saw some other not so famous tennis players. Starfish got picked up by one as a matter of fact. He was hot! I've never heard of him in my life, but he was hot. Alexander Waske is his name and he was very sweet that night. He felt sorry for me having to work in the heat and so he brought me a drink. Then he gave Starfish his phone number and I'm guessing she's called him. But the poor guy lost his match in the Australian Open on Sunday and had to go home the next day. He's promised to take Starfish out to dinner next year though. Like Ball Breaker said, atleast Starfish has a date on the horizon. Also saw Jelena Jankovic (believe me I had no idea who the f**k she was on the night). When she got to the door, I told her to wait in line like everyone else and she said to me "you dont know who I am?" I felt like saying "No bitch, who the hell are you?" But I didnt. I knew after she said that she had to be a tennis player or someone, so I didnt pursue the issue. What an arrogant b*tch! I later googled her and she's truly a nobody, no wonder I've never heard of her.

Princess Model sms-ed me and I told her I was on the look out for The Big One. No sign of him that night. Maybe he was at the Australian Open all night. Who knows. Swing Sister was the best. She tried to keep me company most of the night. She brought me drinks and hung out with me, unlike some people. Ball Breaker was nowhere to be seen all night. The only time she came to me was when she needed a tampon! I'm glad she actually had a target that night and had to work on him. Swing Sister was upset with Ball Breaker all night because of the dress she was wearing. It was so funny to see Swing Sister so distressed over this wardrobe malfunction. Swing Sister wants to give Ball Breaker tips on how to dress. That's too funny.

The Lavish crew showed up early on in the night to check the place out. Cutey thought the place was nice and thought I was very cute working at a nightclub. I'm in no rush to give up my day job ok. I was merely helping TQ out. Kam came down with Azamat and 007. Even my old high school buddy BL showed up. Sorry boys, I didnt get a chance to have a drink with you guys. BL, we'll catch up again real soon. Siew Yum and November Cleo were supposed to come for a bit but decided to go to VVB and Sookie's wedding rehearsals instead. Where are your priorities?? Kekeke :-)

VB worked the door pretty much all night. He wasnt impressed with my tardiness earlier on in the night. Hang on a second. I wasnt even that late! Why was he behaving like the boss? I dont think he was happy either when I kept going out the front for a smoke break. I only had two smoke breaks all night! I think everyone had a good time, some left early, some left when I knocked off at 3am and one even left with The Terrorist. Well, shit happens.

Tennis Party @ Eve

I've done well this week and made no attempt to go out for after work drinks. This is an achievement for me and a great start to this new year. Been reading Princess Model's blog and feeling rather envious that she's eating, drinking, shopping and basically having one hell of a good time in Bangkok! I wish I was there too.

Been invited to a Tennis party to be held at Eve tonight. Another celebrity party organised by ICE Global. TQ has asked I help him out during the night. Thank God I'm not going to be the door b*tch. Yes, some say you have to be on the sexy side to be door b*tch. So, that's why VB will be incharge of that department, the sexy beast that he is. I will just be taking care of the cash registers. I hope Marat Safin will be there *slurp*. The boys are hoping to catch a glimpse of Maria Sharapova. I'm not sure the big profile tennis stars will be there. Well, all my friends are going so it will be a good night no doubt.

Heard that Bob's farewell plans have changed yet again. Drinks to be held at Golden Monkey and clubbing to follow after that. I guess he had this sorted out with Cutey and The Beach Club was not such a good idea after all. Oh well, it will be a shame to see him go. He used to be so much fun to hang around with. I hope I can make it for the farewell drinks, just wont be going to The Beach Club after that.

Spoke to Miss 3 the other day. She's submitted her final documents for application of PR to Australia. Oh no! She's commited now. Well, commited to coming to Australia that is. No doubt VB will be ecstatic over this piece of news.

Piggy emailed me the details of her hen's night, which is to be held in Phuket now. This is gonna be fun. Now all I have to do is try and gather the $luts from here to organise this trip over there. I cant wait for the sun, sea and surf. Well, I dont surf but it sounds good anyway.

Farewell at The Beach Club.....

Crashed Cutey's apartment on Sunday. Swing Sister, Ball Breaker and myself were bored after our trip back from Montrose so, we thought we'd drop by to visit Cutey and TOT. Cutey bought TOT a DJ music mixer for Xmas. So TOT is gonna be a DJ in training. Watch out Kam, she's gonna take your job! Kam came over to teach TOT and Cutey how to use the mixer. Can you believe Cutey bought this thing for $4000 and had no idea where to plug it in? Swing Sister tried her hand out at DJ-ing. She looked so cute. Mr S came over later on in the evening and Ball Breaker brought groceries so Mr S could cook. Kam joined us for gin rummy (with the mahjong tiles!). Cutey and I were not convinced he didnt know how to play. I'm pretty sure he's an old hand at this. He won money for goodness sake! I bet he was taking Ball Breaker, Cutey and myself for a ride.

Found out that Bob is having his farewell party at The Beach Club. WTF??? Why on earth would he do it there? Cutey will not be happy and infact after discussing this with her, she is definitely not happy! How can Bob organise such a big event at The Beach Club knowing all his friends have an affiliation with Lavish? Has he done this deliberately? And he couldnt even send an invite out to everyone himself. The fact that he could even think of doing it at The Beach Club is a disgrace. I am a very loyal supporter of Cutey and so should all her friends. When have any of us ever had to pay to get in to Lavish? When have any of us ever had to line up to get in to Lavish? Havent we all had free drink cards from Cutey at Lavish at some point in time? The Beach Club is a direct competition to Lavish and for Cutey's sake, most of us would never go there. On top of that, having his party there on a Friday night would mean that Cutey and TOT will not be able to go. I guess he doesnt really want to see them before he leaves? Maybe he doesnt really want to see any of us before he leaves. Truly a WH4 if I've ever met one.

Mr S met up with Bob and discussed the ramifications of having his farewell at The Beach Club. They came to a conclusion and changed the venue to Golden Monkey. Well, Cutey and TOT will still not be able to go. But from the latest I heard, the party is back on at The Beach Club. Looks like I wont be going then. I dont know about the rest.

Relaxing Japanese Retreat

Ball Breaker, Swing Sister and myself stopped by Thanh Phong in Richmond for a quick bite on Saturday before heading off to Montrose. The wait for our luxurious Xmas present from Mr S was finally over. We were given a night away at The Japanese Retreat up in the Dandenongs. I wonder what he was up to that night? I later found out he partied all night with LLCoolJ, Starfish and HYC. They went to Goldfingers and then on to Revolver. Mr S didnt get home till 7am Sunday morning. As for Starfish, she didnt get home till 11am Sunday morning. Unbelieveable.

The retreat was amazing. The three of us shared a room. We had an afternoon of massages, facials and body wraps. We were in heaven. The people there thought we were lesbians cos we couldnt stop giggling amongst ourselves. The room was like a traditional Japanese ryoken, complete with tatami mats and futon beds. Dinner was a six course Japanese meal which was served at 6pm. Not surprisingly, we were starving by 10pm. We started our alcohol binge straight after our pampering. And yes, the girls will tell you that I was the alcoholic. Well, in defence, we really had nothing else to do apart from drink and talk shit. Ball Breaker had admitted to being smashed after the first bottle of white, but Swing Sister and I were still straight. So, the logical thing to do was to keep drinking. Swing Sister was adamant that we were at a retreat and that we should really be detoxing. However, all three of us agreed to take a drive down to the local bottle shop to get more booze. Now, it cant really all be my fault right? Anyway, we were such a hilarious sight. We rocked up to the bottle shop in our kimonos, with not much else on underneath. But for some reason, the people down at the pub were unphased by this funny sight. Maybe everyone rocks up for booze dressed like this at the Dandenongs? Believe me, we didnt want to drive down. We sms-ed everyone we knew and asked if they'd bring us more alcohol. Unfortunately, nobody saw the humour in this. As a matter of fact, this didnt even warrant an sms reply from some people. After some (well lots of) drinking, we attempted to take a walk around the compound. Visited the Balinese Retreat, which is $1000 per night. It was beautiful. The place is advertised as a non-smoking environment but the three of us hardly considered quitting for the weekend. Ofcourse we smuggled in our ciggies but we made sure to only smoke outside our room.

The three of us spent a couple of hours in the spa after our walk. It was so much fun. I havent had so much fun with just the girls since Sydney. We should really do this more often. Swing Sister tried her best to spy on the couple next door to us to see if they were infact having sex. Can you believe the rooms come with a full box of condoms and a tube of lubricant? You dont even get this at the Hilton!

At some point in the night, we even contemplated the idea of going to Blvd. Dont get me wrong, the Japanese Retreat was very romantic, very quiet, nice place to get away. I just think the three of us are city girls. We just cant stay away from the bright lights and loud music. The good thing out of this was we were wasted and in bed by midnight. See, it was an early night!

The next morning, we woke up early, made breakfast and decided to relax under the sun on our patio when the owner/ manager knocked on our door and ordered us out of the room because we were late for check out. We threw all our stuff in our bags, got dressed (no time to even shower) and was out the door in under 4 minutes! I dont think she was impressed with us from the beginning. We had music going on in our room, we were drinking and smoking. Not the typical patrons to this "retreat". Well, all in all, I had a fabulous time with my girlfriends.

No More Buzzzzz....

Princess Model is back in KL now and it seems that Melbourne has lost it's buzz. It's quiet down heaps and she's only been gone for 2 days! Miss 3 will have to bear the responsibility of keeping Princess Model entertained. Hahaha! Heard that she met up with WMDM in KL. News is Fegg is still in Shanghai. Apparently he's there to meet up with a girl. What about the auntie then? Princess Model will need to explore this further.

Ball Breaker got a call from VB the other day. He was giving her a lecture on how to behave. Apparently when she grows old and becomes ugly, no man will want her. WTF? He claims to still be irresistable. Even at the age of 50, he'll be able to get a 25 year old , no worries. Err, he cant even get a 25 year old now and he thinks he's gonna get one at age 50? and VB's lectures have been doing the rounds lately. He even had this discussion with Princess Model. Yes, you girls should tone down and listen to wise old VB. Stop swearing, stop drinking, stop smoking, stop doing drugs, stop partying, stop being so loud, basically just stop being human!

On another note, heard from a friend that Trash and 501 are getting married. I guess, she's been waiting like forever for this to happen. 501's parents have apparently bought them a 1.3 million dollar property in Templestowe. So, the wedding has to go ahead now. What I'd like to know is who on earth is gonna do the cleaning for this 1.3 million dollar property? From what I heard, this wedding has been postponed numerous times. As it stands, the wedding is to take place in March. But even then, no plans have been finalised or confirmed. Let's see if it'll eventually happen. Ball Breaker is still waiting for an invite. And if she is invited, I'm crashing it as her date! My source tells me that 501's parents had a New Year party at their place and Trash's parents were also invite. Trash's parents brought flowers for the hosts but 501's parents couldnt find a vase for it and just threw the flowers on a bench next to the bin. Not impressed. Hope the source keeps me posted with more goss.

Spoke to Kam couple of days ago. Welcome back to reality. Glad to hear he's been enlightened from this trip to South America. He was planning on a big bash for his birthday this weekend, along with ONF. Unfortunately the girls wont be able to make it. We are going away tomorrow for a weekend of pampering. He also told me he's gonna be DJ-ing at VVB and Sookie's wedding. Nice.

Was thinking of Bob yesterday. How things have changed over the last few weeks. We dont see him anymore. I guess, he isnt too keen to join us for dinner or drinks these days. At the rate we are all going, some of us will be lucky to even get an invite to his wedding. Oh well, you've gotta do what you've gotta do. Atleast he still has the courage to come over and borrow stuff from me! Some things never change.

Spoke to Miss 3 yesterday. Juice magazine is doing some sort of feature on Summadayze 2007 and she has asked if she can use some of our photos. Ofcourse you can babe. Just show us the ones you've decided on. Spoke a bit about VB. Miss 3 is in a dilemma. Sorry, I cant really help you make a decision, but I'm glad to hear you may be coming to Melbourne again in March! That's great. I wish I was going back to KL sooner. That reminds me, the lot of us should get together asap to plan this Europe trip mid year or else it's never gonna happen.

Party Season Is Over

Took Piggy and Soccer Lover to lunch in Williamstown at the Fish & Chippery on Gem Pier. VB and Siew Yum came to meet us for lunch too. Soccer Lover had been craving fish and chips this whole trip and I didnt have the opportunity to take him till yesterday. It was a beautiful day, not too hot, not too cold. Just perfect. After lunch Piggy, Soccer Lover, Siew Yum and myself headed to another cafe in Wiiliamstown and had a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. Lately, we've been drinking alot of Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. Specifically Marlborough, NZ. Very nice drop. Better than many Australian wines.

Went out for dinner on Tuesday night at The Elephant & Wheelbarrow in the city for a pub meal. Thought it would be nice to take Soccer Lover and Piggy to a traditional English pub for a meal before they leave for KL. Unfortunately, Soccer Lover wont get this experience in Malaysia. The food wasnt that great. But Ball Breaker managed to lick her plate clean. I have no idea where she puts all that food. Maybe like November Cleo, it all goes to her big toe! After dinner, the boys stayed at the pub to watch the cricket and the girls went to Welcome Stranger for a coffee, and a punt on the pokies. I donated $20 to the pokies, so it was an expensive cup of coffee. Starfish wasnt interested in gambling but she was keen to play on the machines with someone else's money. Princess Model came to meet us before leaving for the airport. Coincidently, Piggy, Soccer Lover and Princess Model were all on the same flight home to KL last night. Piggy was a little weary of Princess Model sitting too close to her on the flight. Piggy was afraid Princess Model would make her drink all the way to KL!

Got two text messages this morning from Piggy and Princess Model. Both arrived home safely. I miss you girls already. Piggy, when are you coming back to Melbourne???? Well, now that Piggy is gone, I will have to turn my focus back on Ball Breaker. She's been feeling neglected over the last two weeks. I still love you babe :-) We are going to have some quality time together with Swing Sister this weekend, cant wait.

Thank You All!

Just a quick note to thank all my wonderful friends for their warm Xmas and New Year wishes. It was so good to hear from all of you.

BKK sent me a beautiful Xmas card and Xmas present from Bangkok. So nice. Not to mention always calling me to discuss boy issues! Kekeke.... I'm always here to listen, so dont worry. By the way, the photo you sent me of the Emirates air steward, he's very cute..... hmmmm...

Miss JG sent me a Xmas card from KL, but unfortunately it went to my old address. I still received it though, just a little after Xmas. If you're reading this, Happy Belated Birthday babe, for Xmas Eve. Wish I was there to celebrate with you and to have Xmas lunch at your brother's.

Received Xmas and New Year wishes from Goofy. Thanks. Although I think I forgot to reply his New Year sms. Sorry :-(

Also received various sms-es from friends in KL, Bangkok and UK. Love you guys.

Thanks Kam and Ball Breaker for the Xmas cards. You guys didnt have to. Crazy people.

Thanks Swing Sister and Princess Model for the beautiful Xmas presents. You two are the best!

Thanks Mr S for the extra special Xmas present. I cant wait to use it!!!!

Thanks Siew Yum for the special Kris Kringle present. It will come in handy real soon.

And finally, thanks Ball Breaker for my shoes, that I had to buy for myself ;-) I love it! If you're nice, I'll let you borrow them *wink*

So Not Motivated

I've been too lazy to blog in the last few days so I'll try to sum up everything that's happened in one entry. Following Summadayze, some people were back at work the very next day. Ball Breaker and VB made it to work. Good on you guys. The rest got an extra day to wind down, and some spent the next day partying even more, namely Mr S, Swing Sister, Starfish and HYC. The four of them partied from 11am on New Year's day to 5pm the next day. They cant be human! I took Piggy and Soccer Lover shopping on the Tuesday and Wednesday. Had dinner at Via Veneto on Lygon St. on Tuesday. Then Piggy went for dinner with Starfish on Wednesday. Piggy must've enjoyed Via Veneto cos she went back there again with Starfish.

I was back at work on Thursday and pretty much spent the whole day blogging! Well, I did manage to get some work done as well ok. Settling back into work after having two weeks off is dreadful. Time really flies when you're having fun. Piggy and Soccer Lover went to Yarra Glen on Thursday, which gave me the opportunity to go straight home after work and relax. No dinner or drinks after work. I got to go home, relax and watch some tv, a luxury when you havent had the chance to do it in a while.

Friday night I met up with the girls (well VB was there too) at Comme Bar. Relatively small bar, people were dressed to impress. Not one girl in there was wearing denim! Well, apart from Ball Breaker and Princess Model that is. They both kept thinking they were dressed like hookers because of the looks they were getting from people at Comme. We had a modest two bottles of wine between us before heading off to Lavish. It was not my intention to go there at all on Friday night. I was keen to stay home and watch VCDs. But because it was Cutey's sister's birthday, I thought I should go to atleast wish her a happy birthday. As soon as she cut the cake, Ball Breaker, Princess Model and myself were out the door in lightning speed. The dj upstairs attempted to play some sort of retro mix, but it didnt catch our attention at all. If the music was ok, we probably would've stayed for another half hour. Thankfully we didnt stay. I was glad to be home before 1am and was excited to be able to watch my VCDs in an air conditioned environment. It was like 40 degrees on Friday night! No shit.

Went to Ball Breaker's bbq on Saturday. So much for her bbq, she kept telling everyone else what to do! It was a wonderful turn out. Even TQ came down for a bit. LLCoolJ came over in his silver/ grey Ferrari which was the centre of attraction on the day. I couldnt believe how everyone was acting around him. Cutey took so many photos of the Ferrari, it's not funny. She was behaving like she'd never seen a Ferrari before in her life. Well, I've never seen a grey one. Isnt it alot sexier o get a red one or a black one? Bob and FF didnt show up. Well, Bob said he had to go shopping and then he had to attend VVB's buck's night. VVB, another buck's night? How many are you going to have before you get married?? I hope Sookie's having just as many hen's nights too. There was so much food and alcohol that by the time I left, I couldnt breathe! Princess Model brought Shaolin along. He played the perfect host and it wasnt even his party! He made sure all the girls had their drinks and he even helped clean up. What a nice boy :-)

Piggy, Soccer Lover and I made it home early after the bbq, so we settled in to watch The Notebook. It is one of the most romantic movies I've seen in a long time. It was so sad, that Piggy and I both had tears in our eyes throughout the movie! I think Soccer Lover was falling asleep during the movie though. A real girly movie, but a good one nonetheless.

Sunday we were blessed with long awaited rain. Not much of it, but still the weather cooled down a hell of a lot. Took Piggy and Soccer Lover to West Lake in Chinatown for yum cha. Then we went to a popular Melbourne icon The Queen Victoria Market to do some shopping. The best part of the day for Piggy was when we got to the RMK factory outlet store on Sydney Rd. She was almost hyperventilating when we walked in. She couldnt believe the amount of shoes this place had. And nice shoes too. Piggy ended up with two pairs which brings her total shoe shopping madness in Melbourne to 6 pairs of shoes! I had to give her a bag just to put all her shoes in cos it wouldnt fit in her suitcase.

Had dinner on the Sunday at Crystal Jade. Bob didnt end up coming and he couldnt really give us a definitive reason why. I'm sure we can all work it out. After dinner, we went to Cookie Bar for a coffee. I had a cup of tea, thinking I needed to cut back on the alcohol consumption. What a bad, bad idea! I couldnt sleep all night when I got home. I should've just had a glass of wine as per usual. Earlier on in the day Ball Breaker and Princess Model met up for coffee in St Kilda. They were on a stake out of The Big One. They managed to catch a glimpse of him when he was on his way to a training session with some lesbian. Thank God he was with a butch lesbian and not a hot mama. Princess Model would've been devastated.

Summadayze 2007

Ravers of 2007

Piggy, Soccer Lover and myself were very reluctant to go to Summadayze this year. Ah Sook was keen to buy our tickets the night before at QBH. I told him to call me in the morning to confirm he would take the tickets off me. To my surprise, not only did he call, I also got a call from various other interested parties wanting to buy our tickets for up to $200! Then I felt bad after I spoke to Ball Breaker. I realise Mr S and Swing Sister went through a lot of trouble to get me the early bird ticket and I couldnt possibly let them down. Piggy, Soccer Lover and I went to grab some lunch before heading down to the Myer Music Bowl. Believe me, when it started to rain while we were having lunch, the three of us just looked at each other and shook our heads. Thankfully, the rain stopped and the sun broke through the clouds.

We got there around 2pm and there were so many people, I thought I would have great difficulty locating anyone. But never fear, I spotted Princess Model from a mile. I dont know which one it was, the height or the hair. Either way, I'm glad she stood out from the crowd. Everyone was understandably quite surprised to see the three of us rock up. Earlier in the day Swing Sister had been sms-ing me and I hadnt been replying. This made everyone think that I was avoiding them and hence very unlikely to show up at Summerdayze. I had all of you fooled huh?

Who let her leave the house like this?

Why is he posing for my photo? Nice body though....

I didnt know Borat was at Summadayze???

Swing Sister was a darling as usual. Just like last year, she was very concerned if I was feeling ok, if I was hungry, if I was thirsty, if I was comfortable. Princess Model was the same. She even offered me snacks she had brought with her in her backpack! I must say though, the two of them were not looking their best, especially Princess Model. All those party lollies - no good for you!!!

Piggy, Soccer Lover and myself were the only ones in the group not under the influence. I cant believe even Ball Breaker succumb to this peer pressure! However, this is not to say we didnt have a good time. I actually had a ball of a time. The three of us were on a natural high. We didnt stop dancing for 4 and a half hours. And that's four an a half hours of dancing to house music! The three of us left at around 6.30pm and the rest stayed on till the end. What animals...

Got take away on the way home and November Cleo called to say she was coming over to play cards. Woohoo! Piggy and I were so tired but what the hell, like Ball Breaker says "live when you're alive and sleep when you're dead". Siew Yum, VVB and Sookie came over too. It was a good night of rummy-ing. Got the chance to get to know VVB and Sookie a bit better. November Cleo was making fun of Sookie cos she wasnt fighting with VVB over who should play rummy. I gather they usually fight over who gets to play. Sookie said she's shy infront of people she's not familiar with. So cute. November Cleo is an eating machine. She came over after dinner and then had a bowl of instant noodles while playing cards. Sorry Ball Breaker, but your box of two minute noodles has been devoured! Siew Yum left early to pick Mills up from the airport. Poor thing was a little upset to be left out of the rummy. Not to worry, I'll be throwing a two minute noodle (if there's anymore left) and rice paper roll slumber party real soon.

Saw Bob outside my house while we were all on a smoke break from the rummy table. He's keen to have dinner with all of us before Piggy leaves next week. I'm trying to organise something but I cant think of a place to eat. Decisions, decisions.

New Year's Eve Madness

Took Piggy and Soccer Lover to Melbourne Central to do some shopping. Met up with VB as well. Went into Calibre and bumped into Miss B. The poor thing had to work on New Year's Eve. Took Piggy around Melbourne Central but didnt manage to purchase anything. I'm starting to be cautious with my money. I acknowledge that I've spent way too much on going out, eating out, drinking (I believe this is the main culprit) and even my mobile bill has sky rocketed. The price I have to pay to have a social life! Since the arrival of Piggy and Soccer Lover, my days have just been flying pass with no time to sit down and breathe.

Straight after Melbourne Central, we were off to a New Year's Eve dinner party. Dinner flew by so quickly and we had to leave to get ready for the big New Year's Eve party at
QBH. I feel like I've just been rushing from one thing to another every day for the past two weeks. Well, it gets the adrenaline pumping!

QBH was rocking! Well, rocking to house all night, actually. Piggy and I just hung out at our table guarding the alcohol all night. The rest of the monkeys were shaking their asses on the dance floor. Starfish and Piggy were bagging *beep* all night. They reckon that, the more they looked at her, the uglier she gets. Nasty, nasty, nasty! Ball Breaker thinks she's a tart and I dont really have any comment. I think she's a nice girl actually. No matter what, I'm sure she's loved by someone. Piggy and I rocked the night mostly with Siew Yum, November Cleo, VVB and Sookie. Sad to say, but none of us were even bordering on being tipsy all night, apart from VVB. I heard he became best friends with the toilet in QBH.

Starfish was propositioned by a lesbian. MN asked Starfish for her phone number and Starfish gave her the wrong number. But fortunately, lesbians are smart people too and she decided to call the number on the spot. Starfish was holding her mobile and yet it didnt ring! In the end, she was caught out. That was just too funny. And on the night, Starfish was just saying that her New Year resolution is to become less homophobic. She asked for it!

Saw Civic at QBH. He's got a girlfriend now, very attractive girl with a sexy pout. He's done well!Ah Sook was there too, trying to get me drunk. Swing Sister, Mr S, VB, Miss 3, Princess Model and Ball Breaker were considerably mellow the whole night and didnt really over do it with the booze. They were preparing themselves for a big day on New Year's Day.

We all left QBH without saying good bye to Siew Yum and she was not happy about that. Sorry babe, but you would've never allowed us to leave if we said good bye to you! However, I did say good bye to VVB. But lucky for me, he was too smashed to comprehend what I was telling him. I later found out that he had no recollection of me saying goodbye to him anyway.

We all took a tram back to QV together stopping at McDonalds for a bite. Swing Sister was so funny on the tram. She kept asking all of us to buy a ticket. I kept telling her we didnt need to buy a ticket and she kept telling me "you'll get busted!". Then she tried to make Mr S buy her a city saver ticket. Swing Sister is a classic. Sweetie, didnt you know that public transport was free on New Year's Eve? I love it when she makes me laugh. But dont underestimate her, she is at her smartest when she's under the influence, may that be alcohol or lollies. Swing Sister will always come up with the brightest and smartest ideas then. Moral of the story is to get her high on something permanently.

Bob's BBQ

Early start on Saturday. Well, as early as we could make it. Took Piggy and Soccer Lover to have Vietnamese noodles for lunch in Richmond. Then, did a bit of shopping on Smith St. Starfish met up with us at Smith St. too. The weather had been good the last couple of days, extremely hot actually. I dont quite mind it. I really hate the cold. The warmer the weather, the less effort for me to get dressed. I dont have to throw on layers and layers of clothing. I can run around in my skimpy outfits (sorry to disappoint, but you'll never really find me in skimpy outfits).

We showed up fashionably late to Bob's birthday bbq. Well, I have international guests to entertain and having Vietnamese food and shopping was more of a priority. There was an obvious segregation among the people at the party. I stuck by Piggy, Starfish, Cutey, Siew Yum, November Cleo and Sookie all day. Actually, we ate out in the backyard and stayed out there to play gin rummy all day and all night, rarely stepping foot into the house unless nature called. FF joined us on the rummy table towards the end of the night. Even then, it was only to take over from RH. Soccer Lover cleaned up at the poker table. Some say it's beginner's luck, I actually think he lead everyone to believe it was beginner's luck! Good work. Ball Breaker and Princess Model couldnt make it to the bbq. Ball Breaker had a family thing to attend and Princess Model was at a wedding. It would've been painful for some if the three of us were together!

This year must be a good year for weddings. It's going to be the year of the Pig. VVB and Sookie are getting married, Piggy and Soccer Lover are getting married, I believe Bob's wedding will also fall in the year of the Pig. Anyone else? I'm so touched that Piggy has asked me to be one of her bridesmaids. This means, I will have to be back in KL before the wedding to help and to attend the hen's night, which is tentatively going to be in Bangkok. Yipee!!

No real partying on Saturday, had to conserve energy for New Year's Eve. We didnt even drink at Bob's bbq. What a surprise.

Piggy Comes To Melbourne

What a blur the last week has been. I need to gather myself together to sit down and think about a new year resolution. Yes, yes, we are well into the New Year and I still havent thought of a resolution yet. Maybe, I should start by going out less, drinking less, smoking less, eating less, have more sex, read more books, learn more new things, save and make more money. Oh, the list could go on and on.

Picked Piggy and Soccer Lover up from the airport on Thursday. The funniest thing happened to them. They arrived Melbourne on time but their luggage never made it here! Well, they're staying with me so I had to lend them my clothes. Piggy wasnt impressed with my Victoria's Secret undies. I had to lend her underwear (they were brand new, ok? I got them as a gift from FFU!), but they were 10 sizes too big (no shit), hence the reason why they are still brand new and never worn.

FFU took us all out for lunch in Clayton on Friday. The poor girl had to work, so we all (Yum, November Cleo, Starfish, VB, Miss 3, Piggy, Soccer Lover and myself) took a road trip to Clayton just to have lunch with her. Then, we did some shopping at Chadstone while we were in the area. Miss 3 bought another pair of shoes! The crazy woman will have a suitcase full of shoes when she gets back to KL. Believe me, I understand this illness. Out of all of us, Starfish did the most shopping. By the end of it, she had purchased a whole outfit for herself!

Had dinner at Iku Yakitori in Brunswick with Piggy, Soccer Lover, Starfish, Mr S and Swing Sister. Princess Model and FFU bailed out and so did VB and Miss 3. These people... hmmmph! Finally gave Swing Sister her KK present. She looked pleased with it. I hope she really likes it cos I like it and I'm gonna borrow it one day! We went for drinks after dinner at Manchuria in Chinatown. Piggy was a little tipsy already from dinner after downing a whole bottle of Sake herself! Princess Model, Miss J and FFU joined us at Manchuria. After two cocktails, we headed to Lavish. Princess Model, Miss J, VB and Miss 3 went to Eve instead. Starfish and I were falling asleep at Manchuria and was hoping to go straight home instead of detouring to Lavish, but no such luck!

Got a table with The Lesbians in the glass room at Lavish. They played house music all night. Such a disappointment when Kam isnt around - no Retro :( Found out that I have two very dedicated readers of the blog and they were understandably quite disappointed to be referred to as "The Lesbians". So, as promised they will make their debut in this blog as individuals; introducing VVB and Sookie. There was quite a debate over what to call VVB, but the debate is over and VVB it is! Siew Yum (no longer just Yum) was excited to see Piggy. I could see it in her eyes and her body language (the horny bitch!). Bob was also there with FF. It was his birthday that night. He got totally smashed and couldnt keep his eyes opened (this is normal, isnt it?). Princess Model, Miss J, VB and Miss 3 ended up going to Lavish as well. Princess Model was so, so drunk by the time she got there. She kept asking me questions about *beep* all night. Miss 3 must've been wasted as well cos she kissed one of the lesbians! VB wasnt impressed. Mr S's friend LLCoolJ came with his cousin and tried to pick up all the chicks that crossed his path. Starfish was one of them. She wasnt impressed. Miss A joined us at Lavish. She's back from Beijing for the New Year. Cutey introduced both Piggy and Miss A to TOT. It was a funny sight. Good night with great company, pity about the music. When will we get Retro back?
