My Aries Horoscope

For the Aries person being number one is a common objective through their entire life. They are mostly the type of people that wake up in the morning happy and ready to go unless the first thing that they encountered was negative, then this could carry a different tone for the rest of the day, this includes their sex drive and a strong one it is. The Aries female is a fast learner, they are collectors in a way, when it comes to knowledge and gaining experience in all walks of life including learning how to please a mate be it male or female. The Aries female also has a certain innocents but theirs deals more with seeing only the good things in their mate no matter what the rest of the world thinks. The ruling planet for this sun sign is Mars, most known for its drive and desire. This along with the erotic lure that both the male and female possess make these people both desirable and obtainable. One thing that needs to be said is that they are all lovers in the highest sense of the word.

Happy Birthday To Me

I'm officially well on the journey into my 30's. It's great, although I sometimes wish I could turn back time and be 24 again. That was ultimately the best year of my life, being young, free and single. With no care in the world except to worry about where and when the next party is on. I've been good the past week since Odie and Ribena left on Monday. No late drunken nights. I have literally been in hybernation. I'm now well rested in anticipation of a big night tonight. I just hope I dont end up on the floor somewhere. I'm losing my youth but I certainly dont want to lose my dignity.

Cant say I'm overjoyed about moving a notch up the age ladder, but cant say I'm depressed either. Doesnt feel different to any other day really, except tonight I'll get to party with all my closest friends and some friends I havent seen in awhile.

Thanks to all my friends who've already sent me messages of well wishes. I'm grateful to be loved and I love you all too. Maybe I'm getting a tad sentimental, but really I dont know what I'd do without my friends. You people are closer than family to me. You all should know who you are :-)

Having said all that, cant wait to see all of you tonight. Please let me remember the night ok.

The Last Supper

Was up early once again on Sunday. Usually a 20 minute journey, it took me nearly an hour to get to Cutey's apartment due to the closure of the Burnley Tunnel. The only two people who dont know what the hell happened in the tunnel is Cutey and Princess Model. Hello??? Do you guys read the papers or watch the news at all? After getting TOT, it took us another freakin' half an hour to get to BBs.

By the time we got to badminton, we were almost an hour late. After an exhaustive work out, BBs and I were hanging for a coffee and a smoke. How ironic. We train so hard for 3 hours just to throw it all away with coffee and cigarettes. Badminton is more like a social gathering for us these days. It's the beginning of a big day filled with coffees and dinners to follow. BBs, TOT and myself satisfied out coffee pang at The Pearl in Richmond. They make ultimately the best coffee in Melbourne. Brewed to perfection. Their lattes are not too hot, not too cold but just perfect. It doesnt come with too much froth (I hate the froth), and the coffee is neither too strong nor too weak. It's bliss. Thanks to BBs, I'm gonna recommend this place to everyone I know who loves coffee. Feeling peckish, we decided to have a snack while we were there. What a bad mistake. The food made TOT and myself totally sick. Not food poisoning sick, but sick with terribly bad indigestion. It was our fault for not eating the whole day I guess, and we just got too hungry. The coffees didnt help either, even though they tasted fantastic.

Dropped in to Charltons to pick up Cutey and headed to Mosskito Bar for dinner with Odie and Ribena. The meals were gi-normous and scrumptious. Ribena and I felt sick just looking at the food. Mr S, Swing Sister, Princess Model, Ball Breaker, Kam and Cutey were all there. We had forgotten to invite VB! Two old high school friends came along too and ofcourse WWF stuck to Odie like glue.

The servings at Mosskito was huge!

Finally a night I got to go home after dinner and straight to bed. It was a comfort I had longed for the whole week. The most ironic part of it all was I spent most of last week drinking and staying out late but still managed to make it to work every morning. But on Sunday night, I was in bed by midnight and I didnt go to work on Monday. I should've gone out on Sunday night yeah?

The Busiest Week Of My Life III

Friday

Another surprise, I made it to work, albeit feeling worse for wear. Didnt stay for too long though. Was out of the office by 2.30 in the afternoon to make last minute arrangements for the Williamstown Festival. Made a mad dash home to change and get ready for the opening cocktail party of the festival at Customs House. Nothing too exciting there. Had a few drinks then headed into the city to meet up with Mr S, Swing Sister, Ball Breaker, Princess Model and The Nurse at 3 Degrees. Wasnt really up for clubbing or Lavish (to be exact) on the night, as I had to be up early for the festival the next day. But our surprise guest for the night was Odie. Ribena had convinced her to leave the baby with WWF. And this was definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity for me to party with Odie! I couldnt miss it for anything. So we strutted off and headed for Lavish. Cutey was a bundle of excitement when she saw Odie. Initially Odie was cautious of her environment; not wanting to drink at all. She made me buy her a coke at the bar. Who drinks coke at a nightclub??? I told her coke was expensive and she should have some whickey with the coke! But she insisted on just coke. Fine. Later in the night, Ribena and I made her try her first Jaeger Bomb. I stuck to one drink all night. As for Odie, after one Jaeger Bomb, there was no stopping her. She really liked the stuff. She was such a laugh and so much fun. I cant wait to post the photos up on the blog. Cutey gave us two bottles of champers on the house and even after Odie said she hated champagne, I managed to get a photo of her drinking it straight out of the bottle on the dancefloor. What an animal! Odie was raving alot harder than any of us and she was so much fun. I bet she had heaps of fun too. As for me, it was a fabulous night to be surrounded by all my best friends Odie, Ribena, Ball Breaker, Swing Sister, Princess Model and Kam. The only person missing was Piggy. How I wish she was here too. Ribena and I had too much fun just witnessing Odie let her hair down. I had wanted to leave around 2am but Odie wanted to stay, giving me the guilt trip "How often do I come out? You want me to go home now?" That left me to crumble and just agree to hang around longer. However, by 3am, Odie got a call from WWF telling her the baby had woken up and was crying uncontrollably. That was the cue for us to leave and head back to the hotel. Ribena, Odie and myself left the club and I was thankful I could finally go home to get some rest. But after dropping Odie off, Ribena was reluctant to go up to the room. She didnt want to be in the way of Odie and the crying baby. So, the executive decision was for us to head back to freakin' Lavish! This has got to be the craziest thing I've done since Ribena got here. When we got back to Lavish, nobody even realised we had left and returned! Kam wanted Ribena to meet his girlfriend, so off we went into the R & B room to meet her. Sweet girl. Cant believe she wants to take me shopping. Err.... I hope it's not because she thought I could use the fashion tips. Actually, she thought I was a tourist from Malaysia and was only in Melbourne for holidays so it was sweet of her to offer.

A surprise to see on the night was Fegg and Ah Sook. I couldnt believe Fegg was at Lavish. Ball Breaker spent a great deal of the night talking to Fegg and he told her she was "charming". Oooohhhhh....... So, maybe he's interested again?

Saturday
After hitting the sack at 5am, I was up by 7.30 in the morning in preparation for the long day ahead. Was at the Williamstown Festival by 8.30 and pretty much spent all day just walking around and over seeing my company marquee. It was a horrible day to be outdoors. It rained all day and it was freezing. Later in the night around 6pm, I attended the
Williamstown Youth Music concert. An all youth event with no alcohol allowed. Boo! The rock concert was bearable. Some of the talents were pretty, well, talented. If any of them make it big, I can say I was a VIP guest at their debut gig! My favourite band was Illzilla. They played a combination of alternative, rap and rock, which was pretty cool. I never knew kids listened to this type of music these days. Back in my day, bands would either play alternative, rap or rock. But Illzilla's songs are like a combination of all the above in one song.

Met up with the rest of the gang at The Order for VB's birthday. Brought Ribena along with me. Had a few drinks there and BBs came to meet us as well. Both Ribena and BBs were keen to go to Blvd. Ribena wanted to check it out cos she hasnt been there before and ofcourse she wanted to see Kam play. BBs came out to boogie and Blvd was just the obvious choice to go to. And I had to make Ball Breaker and Princess Model come with me. The rest of them went on to Third Class (which used to be Honky Tonks). Oh, and Mr I-Cant-Stop-Talking-About-Rocks was at The Order too. No doubt we owed his presence to his new found infatuation with my good friend. She was avoiding him the whole night and she even hinted to Swing Sister and Princess Model for help but both were too engrossed to get the hint. Thank God I came to the rescue ending her misery. Unfortunately, SJ is now left to clean up the mess ;-)

Cant say anything else exciting happened that night apart from BBs wanting to meet a man. Kam pointed out a few potentials for BBs but no, they were all wrong. Then Kam spotted the spunk of the night, Mr Bouncer. He was ok. Kam embarassingly introduced BBs to him and the rest was history. Hahaha....well, history in a sense that it should not repeat itself. It was all good fun and BBs got to meet a man like she wanted to. WMDM showed up to Blvd unexpectedly. I thought it was a nice surprise cos I hadnt seen him in ages. But my perception of him was shredded after this conversation:

WMDM: Hey, great to see you. Havent seen you in ages. Where have you been?

Me: I've been around. Good to see you too. How have you been? Let's drink.

WMDM: Sure.

Then we adjourn to the bar.

WMDM: What did you do today?

Me: I worked 12 hours today at the Williamstown Festival and I cant believe I'm here partying.

WMDM: You get paid for this?

Me: No, it's a volunteer thing. Did it for the community.

WMDM: Would you like to volunteer at my company?

Me: And what exactly would you like me to do? Make coffee?

WMDM: All you need to do is sit under my desk (and I could see the real peverted look on his face)

Me: And do what?

WMDM: Well, use your imagination and whatever happens naturally after that happens.

Me: What the f*ck?

At this point I walked off and ended the conversation. Mind you, with no drink in my hand either. Sorry, but I used to think WMDM was a nice guy, although I did have my reservations about how sleazy he could get. But dont people draw the line on who they can and cant be sleazy with? I thought we were friends. And friends dont speak to other friends like this. It was bordering on sleaziness, pervertedness and downright disgusting!

Oh, and one last thing, some dumb bitch shoved me into the DJ booth at Blvd ramming my knee into the table. By the end of the night I had a beautiful work of art called a bruise on my left knee. Fuckin'.

The First Date

While I was falling asleep on someone's couch, a good friend of mine was busy on her very first date. Not very first date with the guy, very first date in her entire life! He took her to a nice Korean restaurant, she got all dolled up looking hot, hot, hot. Well, one must always leave a lasting first impression and no matter what you think, books are always judged by their cover. She makes a late entrance into the restaurant, as you do on a first date. All goes well, until he tells her what he does for a living. So, the both of us had spent a day pondering over what this guy does. She researched the company he works at and our conclusion was he's an IT geek. But on the night of the date, she discovers that he's infact a warehouse supervisor (in an IT company perhaps?). The eyes started to roll, the interest was no longer there and the mind started to leave the body. His part of the conversation pretty much centred around rocks. Yes, you read right, rocks. This guy has a fascination for rocks. Maybe he was just nervous and the only thing he was confident about was rocks. Bloody rocks. And the more she looked at him, the more he started to look like HYC. Not that HYC is ugly by any means, just the thought of dating HYC was weird.

I take it the meal was delicious, but not wanting to look rude, my poor friend ate very delicately, not to mention very slowly. By the time the guy was done with his meal, she wasnt even half way done filling her own stomach. And what does she do next? She stops eating as well to save herself from looking like a pig.

The funniest part of the date was leaving hungry. How she could defy her own principles and put herself in this position is questionable. She, of all people found the need to be someone else on the date. Now that's funny. Sorry babe, I wont encourage you to go on anymore dates in future. You should just stick to what you do best *wink*.

The Busiest Week Of My Life II

Wednesday 21st March
I made it to work after getting home at 4am in the morning. The past week has been such a blur to me. I swear to God I'm going into hybernation this week. No more partying till my birthday. To top it all off, last week was the most stressful week for me at work. I've been given the responsibility of running the Williamstown Festival, so every day of the week I've been running around like a headless chook trying to organise the marquee, the AV, the banners, the rosters, the flyers, blah, blah, blah. I was good on Wednesday. No dining out, no drinking (well, not much), no partying. But I did go to Siew Yum's office in the afternoon and had lunch with her, BBs, and November Cleo's brother. They prepared steamboat in the warehouse. Here we were dining in the midst of all the Zhouk clothes. It was yummy!!! There was a tom yum soup base as well as a satay soup base. It was the best steamboat I've had in ages. Siew Yum had gone grocery shopping in Footscray in the morning and the seafood was very deliciously fresh. I couldnt stop eating. Undoubtly, along with steamboat, there must always be drinking involved. Siew Yum cracked open a slab of beer and I pretty much spent all afternoon there eating and drinking. How nice to be able to drink at work. Bloody Siew Yum. Unfortunately BBs had to go back to work after lunch. The poor thing couldnt even have a beer.

Thursday 22nd March
Spent pretty much all day in a daze. Still trying to recover from the weekend before. Caught up with Swing Sister for a few drinks after work. We drank a bottle of wine almost. She was feeling down and needed to talk to me. It's all good now, no dramas. Couldnt hang around with her for too long cos I had to rush back into work. Dramas at work. It is so frustrating when the department springs a random audit on me at 5 and expects the results to be ready by 12 noon the next day. Mother F**kers! As if I dont have enough work to do. This is karma for not doing much work in the last 12 months. Hah! After I finished up at work, I met up with Kam and Ribena for more drinks. I was stressed beyond stressed. It was by far the worst day of my life this year. We were drinking at Kam's and the combination of stress, fatique, exhaustion plus alcohol knocked me out completely. Ribena and Kam continued to drink the night away. I could vaguely hear them downloading music and dancing in the hall way. Crazy animals. I later found out, they even left me at home and went out at one point. Well, I think they went out to buy more cigarettes and coke for the whiskey they were drinking. Speaking of which, thanks to the lesbians, I've developed a taste for Whiskey and water. It's all November Cleo's fault!!! This is now one of my favourite drinks. I think I'm over the sweet Vodka Cranberry Lime mix; too sweet. Whiskey and water, according to Siew Yum, will not give you a hangover. And she's right! It's like drinking water all night. So, half alcohol, half water, must be good for you :-) However, nothing beats a bottle of wine to get me in the mood. It hits me alot quicker than Whiskey.

Wedding or 21st Birthday Party

Swan ice sculpture

Marquee & pool party?

Last Sunday night (18th March), while I was getting smashed with the tourists in the city, Ball Breaker attended the wedding of the year in Templestowe. BBs tried to convince me to go as her partner, but there was no chance I was gonna show up to Trash's wedding, even if I had've been invited. The wedding was set in 501's family home. A marquee was erected on the tennis courts and all around the pool. A huge ice carving of an animal of some sort (a swan perhaps?) was on display. Ball Breaker's account of the evening was hilarious. The wedding was more like a big 21st birthday party. Dinner was served buffet style with people having to line up for their food. Not your typical sit down 8 course wedding dinner. The food, I heard was magnificent though. But the whole set up was a disaster. Most of the dishes were prepared by 501's family. So, they cooked their own food for the wedding. There was even a pancake stall tossing pancakes for dessert. Sounds like one big Moomba festival. Only thing missing was the roller coaster and jumping castle. The bride only had 3 to 4 tables of her own guests which included both her family and her friends. Poor thing had no friends. Atleast DH flew in all the way from Singapore for this event. What a true friend.

Front view of the dress - gorgeous

Side view of the dress - err... what's that sticking out?

Ball Breaker and The Teacher were my paparazzi crew at the wedding, snapping photos from every angle of the place, the people, the dress and the food. But I still havent seen these photos!!! According to one, the dress was straight out of a Footscray Vietnamese boutique. Surely with so much money, she could've gotten a dress from Marianna Hardwick or a designer couture wedding gown. Having said that, the dress was probably a designer couture gown but it just wasnt flattering to her body. Ball Breaker was absolutely right, money does not buy you style or class. The bride and groom had one or two dances to start the party off and Ball Breaker said they retreated to their room and never came back out for the rest of the night. WTF?

Gorgeous in a red cheongsam....

My paparazzi crew took this opportunity to get smashed as usual, seeing that the bubbly of choice for the night was Bollinger and Moet. Not bad. Ball Breaker was sms-ing and calling me all night to make me drive all the way to Templestowe to witness this "wedding". People were coming and going all night. Even Roulette and her boyfriend crashed the wedding and they weren't invited!

BBs account of the whole event was slightly different to Ball Breaker's. BBs thought the wedding was a fairly well thought out event. Different to your average Chinese wedding reception, but nevertheless it was good. She did say the food was really good, not much comment about the buffet style serving. I guess BBs is just more diplomatic. After all, she did get along well with Trash despite the history they both shared. BBs, you're too kind, even though you did complain that you spent all night smiling at strangers who were wondering who the hell you were!

The Busiest Week Of My Life I

The whole week, I've been totally out of control. Eating, drinking and smoking excessively. Here's the summary of my roller coaster ride.

Monday
I was good - stayed home. Did nothing, watched Desperate Housewives. Was recovering from the big roller coaster of a weekend. So many NBFs, so little time....

Tuesday
Met up with Siew Yum, BBs, Plastic, Ball Breaker, Mr S, Swing Sister, Kam, Odie, Ribena, SJ, etc. for after work drinks at 3 Degrees. Plastic and the girlfriend left early to catch Miss Saigon. I want to go see that too! The rest of us moved on to dinner at Via Veneto on Lygon St. The prawn linguine has never tasted better. Ball Breaker and I came up with the fabulous idea of having my birthday dinner at Watermark to save people the trouble of moving from one place to another after dinner since Lavish is in Watermark. This way, everyone can drink during dinner and not worry about driving to Lavish. Rang Cutey to get her to organise my birthday dinner, but must have gotten her at a bad time. She was high on something and had no idea what I was talking about. So Kam said he would organise the booking.

After dinner, everyone left the restaurant to head home leaving me, Ball Breaker, Ribena, Princess Model and Kam. JT had wanted to stay with us. I could tell. But she was torn between Mama J and err.... well, u know who. Ribena and Kam were downing shooters at the bar like there was no tomorrow. They tried every Sambuca the bar had to offer and at one point I joined them for a white Sambuca shot. Later on back at the table, we got onto a discussion about Filipinos.

Kam: Do any of you hang around Filipinos or have any Filipino friends?

Princess Model: (jumping for joy) Me, me, me. I grew up with Filipino maids!!! I had one maid who's name is Virgy, not virgin not vegy. It is V-I-R-G-Y....

At this point, everyone on the table was crying with laughter. Princess Model didnt think it was funny, but Ribena, Ball Breaker and myself couldnt stop crying. How the conversation lead onto Princess Model's Filipino maid, I have no idea. How the conversation lead onto the maid's name is an even bigger mystery. But it was all too funny and if I was at home, I would've been rolling on the floor. Anyway, the drinking continued even after we had settled the bill for dinner. Kam and Ribena had more Sambuca shots, Ball Breaker, Princess Model and myself had liquer coffees. Then we ordered Grandfather Ports. Oh My God! And all we wanted to do that night was have after work drinks, dinner then go home to bed. We finally left the restaurant when the owner came to kick us out just before midnight. All the alcohol we consumed after dinner was on the house. Nice.

Ribena, Kam and myself ended up at Players on Lygon, which is a pretty classy looking Pokies place. Well, it had a bar and that's all that mattered. The two of them continued their binge and surprisingly got along really well, which is great. Now Ribena has an NBF too!!! Odie was calling me all night trying to find out when I was gonna bring Ribena back. Then she called to ask if we could get her bubble tea from China Bar on the way back to the hotel. Then we got calls from JT and Mama J who insisted we go back to the hotel and drink with them. Ribena wasnt keen on that idea, neither was I. Mama J and JT have been annoying poor Ribena all week. Ribena just wanted to get out of the tiny serviced apartment away from all of them. Our night didnt end there. When we finally decided to leave the pokies, we drove past China Bar in search of this bubble tea concoction for Odie, but it was closed! Odie was so not happy with us cos we thought since we had no reason to go back to the hotel, then we should head somewhere else. Someone mentioned wanting to eat and on a Tuesday night, early Wednesday morning, nothing in the city was open, not even McDonalds. So we headed to Crown Casino. Had a snack and was gonna call it a night when we discovered that Odeon was still open. At 3 in the morning, we went up to Odeon and continued partying. The music was not too bad, a mix of commercial R & B and house. Ribena was still doing Jaeger Bombs at 3 in the morning. Salute to her. I was ready to pass out, not from alcohol consumption, from exhaustion! Odie was furious with the three of us. She rang me and started screaming at me for going out and not getting her bubble tea. She was furious Ribena didnt go back to the refuge camp (the apartment). We did eventually go back to the apartment and believe me, the three of us had four furious faces glaring at us. Kam and I made a run for it the minute we had an opportunity. We left poor Ribena alone to face the music.

The Party I Didnt Go To

After a late one on Friday, I woke up and went for lunch in the city with the tourists. A warm bowl of Vietnamese noodles was a delightful way to nurse a hangover, not that I was hungover ok. I was still trying to get over the events of the night before. After lunch we went to 3 Degrees for a late afternoon coffee...and cocktails for some (namely Ribena). I bet she would've ordered a Jaeger Bomb at 3 o'clock in the afternoon if she could. But mommy wouldnt be impressed. KL, who's an old high school friend, came down from Sydney to see Odie and Ribena. The poor guy took a 12 hour bus ride for the weekend just to see them. Very sweet guy indeed.

Helped The Nurse organise her welcome home party at Eve on Saturday night and I didnt even end up going. The manager of Eve gave me my own guestlist and he was surprised I didnt turn up. The turn out was pretty good I heard but I was also told the music would've killed me. They played house/ techno rubbish all night. Thank God I didnt get out of bed for that. Was on the phone with Ribena throughout the night contemplating if we should go to Eve or Blvd. Ribena told me Malaysia Airlines was in town for the Formula 1 and was very keen to go to Blvd. I couldnt be f**ked going to Blvd; I couldnt even be f**ked going to Eve. Told Ribena we would catch up with Malaysia Airlines the next day. Ribena went along with WWF to drop MH off to the airport. I heard he checked in together with Miss T, but she couldnt wait to get away from him the minute the plane touched down in KLIA. Guess, they didnt really click.

The lot of them must've had a smashing time cos Mr S, Swing Sister, The Nurse, Princess Model, SJ and HYC partied from midnight on the Saturday at Eve, right through till 2am Monday morning; 48 hours straight! Crazy animals. Was not surprised when I rang Swing Sister at work on Monday and was told she had called in sick. Ball Breaker was good and only stayed at Eve for 2 hours and then went home. Wow. That was unusual.

Sunday, I went for lunch at Deelish on Smith St. in Collingwood. One of my favourite little cafe joints which I do frequent on the weekends. Cosy little place which has some great themes on the weeknights; such as "curry" nights on Tuesdays and "Parma" nights on Wednesdays (or something like that). After lunch, caught up with the tourists in Victoria Market. Visited Sock Man and he told me he's booked a date for his wedding - December 30th. The reception will be held somewhere in South Yarra. Wow. Flashy. Congratulations man. He's also having a reception in Taiwan. This will be huge no doubt.

Sat around Victoria Market for the rest of the afternoon before adjourning to Soul Cafe in the city. Malaysia Airlines came to join us and brought a friend along. He was keen to go clubbing again that night. What the? I guess it's nice to be on holidays with no responsibilities except party, party, party. Plus he didnt bring his wife with him on this trip. Hmmm...classic case of when the cat's away, the mouse comes out to play. Found out that Malaysia Airlines just opened a bar/ restaurant in KL. Told him I would definitely check it out when I go back to KL next. The retaurant's called Barra in the KL Tower. What an entrepeneur. After a few glasses of wine, we all went to dinner at Banana Palm in Chinatown. Another bottle of white later, I was having difficulty focusing. After dinner JT and Kam (who was driving me home) decided to stop by Transport at Federation Square to drink more. It was surprisingly busy on a Sunday night. Must be because of the F1, which was on that day. A nice Dutch boy (he was 23; still a boy) came to join us on our table. He just couldnt stop talking even when I seemed disinterested in the conversation. The poor guy was down in Melbourne for work all by himself so he decides to go to a bar for a drink by himself. To top that off, of all people at the bar, he decides to join us. He literally bored me to death. Nice boy, but in my intoxicated state, I was in no mood to make small talk. I cant even remember what time I got home, but nevertheless I still made it to work on Monday. I dont know how..... and as for JT, she never ended up going back to her hotel that night. Naughty, naughty.

You Dont Know About My Blob?

Just remembered a conversation I had with VB two weeks ago when we met up for Yum Cha at Dragon Boat. We got talking about the Multiply website and also blogging, when out of the blue I get cornered by VB.

VB: I've seen those photos u put up on the Internet

Me: Oh, on Multiply? How long ago did u log onto it?

VB: Yeah, Multiply I guess. Oh, I looked at it ages ago. (umm...do people know that I can actually see who and when my Multiply site is accessed????).

VB: (out of nowhere) Do you have a blog??? All Malaysians have a blog. What's with that?

Me: Yes I do have a blog. By the way Swing Sister doesnt have a blog and she's Malaysian. Is there something wrong if people have an interest in writing?

VB: What's the website?

Me: It's only for the elite and exclusive, sorry.

VB: U write anything nasty about me?

Me: Everything about you is nasty.

Now, I know for a fact that VB knows about this blog, then why was he asking me about it again? He was testing me. I'm convinced. Maybe he just wanted to hear it from me. Whatever. He's known about it ever since and now he asks me about it. Geez.

Lavish With Puteri

Organised dinner last Friday night at Crystal Jade for the tourists. From a reservation of 16 people, only nine showed up. Everyone bailed out at the last minute. And I mean the very last minute. Bloody shit. Food at Crystal Jade is always good. Odie couldnt get enough of the pepper steak as usual. Everytime we go there, we always end up ordering two massive serves of the pepper steak - highly recommended! After dinner we all went to 3 Degrees for a few drinks, minus Odie, baby and Big K. Big K is Odie's sister's best friend. She always glues herself to Odie whenever she's in town. Last time Odie and Puteri were in Melbourne, they stayed with me. And because Big K cannot seem to detach herself from Odie, the fruit loop moved herself into my house as well. WTF? I'm not kidding, she literally moved herself in for a whole week. This time around, Odie and Puteri are staying in a hotel and for more than obvious reasons, Big K has once again moved herself in. Is she like in love with Odie? It's great for Odie to have such a good friend who will follow her day in and day out and be at her every beck and call, but hello??? This is not normal. Big K has even taken a whole week off work to spend with Odie. Does this mean I'm the best friend that doesnt give a shit cos I havent really taken any time off to spend with Odie. Dont get me wrong, I meet up with Odie and Puteri every chance I get to leave work early. But should I be doing more? Should I be the one taking them to Werribee Zoo, the wineries or the children's farm? I am bad. And the thing with Big K is, she isnt very sociable. Sure, I can have a conversation with her, but that's cos I've known her for a long time and also because of the presence of Odie. But apart from that, she is totally arrogant to everyone else around. If not for Odie, I would never see Big K. Even Cutey cant stand her and she's known Big K far longer than I have. Everytime Odie is in town, I get no chance to have dinner or coffee alone with Odie. Big K is always around. Since the last time, I've pretty much given up hope of ever doing dinner with Odie unless I'm in KL. It's just not gonna happen in Melbourne. Having said all this, good for Odie though for having Big K around. She is great help to Odie with the baby. I think Big K is more the god mother to the baby than I am. I'm not making excuses for myself but I'm just no good with little people. Babies look and feel fragile and that scares me. Sorry Odie, I love baby L to bits, but she's scary! If Odie left me to babysit for half a day, I will end up kicking and screaming not the baby.

JT, MH and Puteri came to join the rest of us at 3 Degrees after dinner. Mr S and Swing Sister also came to join us. It was nice of Plastic and his girlfriend to hang out with us for a change. After a few drinks, we moved on to Lavish. Even Plastic and the girlfriend came along. Wow. Unfortunately, I didnt get much of a chance to hang out with them at Lavish. To be honest, I dont even know what time they left the place cos I was too engrossed with drinking and hanging out with Puteri, MH and JT. I didnt even have time for Ball Breaker. Which reminds me, she was on her best behaviour that night. No stumbling on to the dancefloor and knocking over the DJ booth. Good girl. The Nurse showed up at Lavish. It was good to see her. It has been awhile. She seems to have put on a bit of weight but no damage done. She still looks fabulous. Bitch! Lotsa dancing and lotsa photos, not to mention the flow of alcohol as well. Puteri and I were drinking like it was going out of fashion. I dont have much recollection of how many Jaeger Bombs we consumed that night. BBs and Liv were there too but I neglected them too. Cutey was very generous and gave us two bottles of bubbly on the house. I think that killed me. Puteri mentioned that Princess Model wasnt her vibrant self. Princess Model has been like this since she came back from KL. But I sense that she detests hanging out at Lavish too, so that might be it! Princess Model and Swing Sister left Lavish early, leaving Mr S with us. I didnt hang out much with Princess Model or Swing Sister either. Well, I had tourists to take care of. Does this make me a bitch?

I didnt leave Lavish till 4 in the morning and this was when the fun began. Puteri got into my car and JT decides to hop into Kam's car. Hmmm.... The agreement was for us to meet outside Puteri and JT's hotel. Halfway down Spencer St, we lost site of Kam's car. Puteri and I were such idiots cos we pulled over on the side of Spencer St to wait for Kam. Twenty minutes later, we were still waiting. We finally decided to just head back to the hotel and wait outside. JT had told Puteri that no matter what, she was to wait for her outside the hotel and not leave her alone with Kam. Tried to call Kam with no success and when I finally got a hold of him, I discovered he had taken JT to Platform One! So Puteri and I were once again made into fools for waiting in the car, while the other two were busy getting hammered. The problem was Puteri didnt have the keys to get into the hotel. As a result, the both of us sat in the car outside the hotel for over an hour waiting and waiting. One of my pet hates is waiting. Puteri and I were fuming by the time Kam showed up with JT. At 5.30 in the morning, I was so not a friendly person. Apparently I nearly ran Kam over when I drove off! Sorry man, I didnt mean it. Best friend or not, it was not my intention to try and kill him even though that's what Puteri and I felt like doing that morning! We later found out that after I left and Puteri retired to her room, Kam took JT to South Melbourne beach, err....sightseeing. WTF? Atleast they had fun!

Overview of The Week

I had such a hectic week last week giving me no time whatsoever to blog. Thus, I'm trying to catch up on all the hot goss this week and put it down on paper, well on blogspot actually. For a change, I've actually had to do work at work. Dont laugh. This is truly a new experience for me! This is not to say I just sit back and twiddle my thumbs all day in the office ok. I just have more work now then I did before. Anyway, apologies to my dedicated blog stalkers, namely Piggy, Miss 3 and Princess Model for not updating you guys with something to read all week! Never fear, I will try to always make time for you girls!!!

Met up with Odie and The Princess for dinner on Tuesday. It was so nice to see The Princess. Went to EC Pot in QV which is famous for its claypot chicken rice. Yumms...Surprisingly, these two friends of mine never grow sick of Asian food. The Princess just got in on Monday and is already craving Asian food. As for Odie, she cant live without rice! MH didnt join us cos he was out on a date with Miss T. Wow. Wonder how things are going there? On the night, Odie was frantically trying to book MH an early air ticket (on Sunday 18th March to be precise) to return home to KL. And he's supposed to be here until the 26th. You know why? Miss T was going to KL on Sunday as well on a business trip. Another WH4. MH is such a sweet guy who's just gonna get his heart broken again and again. Hope it'll be worth it.

Wednesday, I was held up in a meeting with Union Reps (aka The Real Lesbians) all day but thankfully managed to escape early in the afternoon to meet up with Odie and The Princess for coffee at
Brunetti in the city. MH, JT and Mama J was there too. Cutey, TOT and Toy Boy came to join us for a bit. When Cutey got there, we started on the wine. MH told me about his plans to go home to KL early. He said he's never done something this outrageous before. He's confirmed to leave Melbourne on Sunday on the same flight as Miss T. I told him that it's better to regret something he's done than something he had no guts to do. MH agreed and with that he had a glass of wine and a drag of a cigarette! Hahaha.... MH is missing home too. The poor thing has had enough of being couped up in the tiny refuge camp of a hotel room with Odie and the whining baby. And since The Princess is here, she can take over. Cutey did tell MH not to invest too much into Miss T. Apparently she's "hard to get". Whatever that means....

Toy Boy was talking to me about the weekend before at Lavish and how the DJs were complaining about Ball Breaker. I told him I could get him a photo of Ball Breaker so staff will know she's banned from the club!!! hahaha... Ofcourse Toy Boy wouldnt allow that. Not a chance. He also wanted my opinion on a birthday gift for his girlfriend. He was planning to take her to the US for a holiday in August. When I told Ball Breaker this, she wanted to know if Toy Boy was gonna buy the girlfriend a one way ticket! Nasty. Not sure if Toy Boy ended up getting the ticket cos he thought August is still a fair way away and he'd really like to get her something she can use now. Gave him a few suggestions, the usual, jewellery, wallet, handbag, etc. He wanted something more romantic. Good luck with it boy.

After drinks, went to Chanel with Cutey and TOT. TOT wanted me to look at a handbag she was interested in. After 5 minutes, TOT made her decision and Cutey bought it for her. How sweet. At $1900, it wasnt too bad. A very classy looking bag which doubles as a clutch. Apart from the patent leather, which is too shiny, the bag is absolutely divine.
Cutey took the rest of them to Dainty Sichuan Restaurant in Chinatown for chilli chicken. I wasnt in the mood for chilli chicken so decided to go home instead. Everyone nearly died from the chilli! As spicy as the chilli dishes are, it is one of the most addictive culinary delights I've ever tasted. Every bite will make your eyes water but you will keep wanting more. Princess Model will so understand this. From my experience, the chilli chicken dish is best served with ice cold beer over a game of gin rummy. Yumm :-) For the Malaysians who all thought they could handle chilli, they were sure in for a surprise that night.

On Thursday, I went to the opening of an art show held in conjunction with the Williamstown Festival. Then met up with Odie, The Princess, Mama J and JT for a coffee at Soul Cafe located in the Grand Mercure Hotel on Swanston St. It's one of the only baby friendly bars in town. With two mothers with their kids in tow, we had to find a place with outdoor sitting to fit the strollers and a bar to fit the alcoholics! Princess Model and Swing Sister were just across the road at Cookie Bar. But I knew if I met up with them, I'd be drinking all night. So settled with the tourists at Soul Cafe instead. I had one glass of white and this place has got to be the place that's great value for money. At $5 a glass of wine, they (no shit) fill it to the brim. The average glass of wine normally served is only half full. At most three quarters full. This one was really full. More like one and a half glasses. Must've been the bar tender's first day at work.

After one drink I was on my way home when I got a call from The Dick! What a wonderful surprise. The Dick is an old, old, old friend of mine from KL and we've always kept in touch until he moved to UK. We still kept in touch then but didnt really get a chance to speak to each other much on the phone. Too expensive! So, he rings me out of the blue this year and he was in Adelaide for work. Wow. I told him Odie and The Princess are in town and he should come down on the weekend. I havent seen him in almost 10 years. It would be so good to see him again. According to him, he's still single, no kids and no hair. There's plenty of single available women in Melbourne, he should come down. The Dick told me he would try to work something out and see if he can get a ticket here but it will be tough, seeing that the F1 is on this weekend. Tickets will be either fully booked or overly, overly priced.

Labour Day Long Weekend

As I was spending my long weekend on a road trip to Canberra, the rest of the gang were busy getting ready to party cos Monday was a public holiday. Princess Model went to the Future Music Festival rave for JC's hen's party. From what I heard, it was even better than Summadayze. Apparently there was a bigger turn out than Summadayze, about 31, 000 people. Wow, bigger crowd than some of the towns I drove through on the way to Canberra! The guest DJs were alot better too from Princess Model told me. I wouldnt know how to appreciate that. Not my thing. I saw the photos on Princess Model and JC's blog and they sure looked like they had a lot of fun. JC, did anyone look scary? Or is it just my friends that looked scary??

Ball Breaker, Mr S and Swing Sister partied on at
Bond Bar. Cutey had one of her nights there. How I wish I was there. I missed the Labour Day party last year at Bond and this year too. Damn! Ball Breaker was smashed as usual. Apparently she partied on all night and didnt go home till 11pm the next day. A combination of lethal pharmaceuticals and alcohol made the lot of them stay up all night and all day the next day. No wonder I didnt hear from Ball Breaker all day on Monday. Kam was nice enough to take MH with him to Bond. I owe him one for taking care of my visiting friends.

The Princess arrived from KL on Labour Day. Cant wait to party with her. Will have to take her to Lavish as well. Hah! Feel sorry for her having to come all this way to help Odie take care of the baby. Will meet up with Odie and The Princess tomorrow for dinner.

Canberra Road Trip

Was up early on Sunday in eager anticipation (not!) for the road trip to Canberra. SJ and VB came over, then we headed to Footscray for Vietnamese noodles. SJ was worried we wouldnt get any Asian food along the way. She was right ofcourse. I've never eaten so much McDonald's in my life over the two days on the road! The drive up to Canberra was well, interesting. So many dead kangaroos, wallabies and rabbits on the road. I even saw a dead koala by the side of the freeway. How sad. I exhausted my Ipod on the way there and on the way back. Atleast the music was great. Made a stop in Albury, which is the border of Victoria and NSW. Even on this road trip, SJ never ceases to amaze me. She was on the lookout for "potentials"! What a crack up. We managed to act like total tourists with our camera in tow and snapped away at some unsuspecting stranger so I could eventually post it on my blog. I cant even begin to describe this town and the men that belong here. SJ went into Hungry Jacks to get some fries and was kicked out of the queue by 15 school kids. SJ was not happy, but she wasnt in her territory so, she couldnt really do much about it. People in this town are like stuck in time. They are still dressed like they're from the 80s, most men still have the mullet hair cut, which is sorta back in fashion isnt it? But the truth is, these mullet heads never left the trend from the 80s till now. Funny. It's like they didnt have to change cos it came back in fashion anyway. The women here are massive. I dont think I saw any women smaller than a size 14. What do these people do in a town like this? Actually, with all this criticism, Albury is actually a fairly decent sized town. It has a population of 41,000. That's quite a number.

Next stop was Holbrook. The place has a huge submarine in the city centre. God knows what the history is behind it and I dont really care to find out. Unlike Albury, this town only has a population of 1, 276 people. WTF? How can people live in such tiny communities? Some Asians alone have that many people in their family! We didnt give our camera a rest in this town either. People genuinely thought we were tourists.

Got in to Canberra at around 8pm, just in time for dinner. We headed out for dinner in Dickson, which is Canberra's Chinatown. We ate at a Thai noodle bar which wasnt too bad. The serving of food was massive. So, we've fulfilled SJ's taste buds with Asian cuisine. We walked pass a Chinese restaurant which I was told is owned by Jackie Chan's family. For those of you who didnt know, Jackie's Chan's dad lives in Canberra and owns a restaurant there. Even Jackie himself used to go to school in Canberra. With a population of 300,000, it is still a quiet and miserable city. I must say I'm a total city chick. Obviously cant get away from the bright lights and the loud music. In a matter of 7 hours, we were transported into a small quiet city where everyone is content with staying home and watching tv. The noodle bar we ate at was quite busy but the streets outside were dead. Given this was Melbourne or Sydney Chinatown, it would've been buzzing during dinner time.

Was up early again to accompany my ding dong cousin to the Malaysian Consulate. Well, this was the main reason we drove all the way up to this fabulous city. She needed to renew her passport. All the employees in the consulate were Malays. Not one sighting of a Chinese or Indian on deck. How racist! To top that of, the forms for applications were all in Malay too. If I wasnt there, SJ would be totally lost. Malaysian, but cant fathom Malay. It seemed like most Victorians had the same thinking cos the place was full of people from Melbourne. Everyone had the same idea of coming down cos it was a public holiday in Victoria. Thank God SJ and I were the first ones there.

After leaving her passport to be processed, we attempted to do some shopping in the city centre. The main shopping centre was quite sad. It's not even comparable to Boxhill Central shopping centre in Melbourne and Boxhill Central is pretty bad. We then headed to Manouka for lunch. People say this is the Chapel St. of Canberra. Not bad, a few restaurants and cafes here and there. We settled at a place called Belucci's. Let me tell you, it was the best lunch I've had in a long time. The pasta was beautiful. We had a pasta platter with three different types of pasta and it was heaven. SJ, VB and myself cleaned up the plate. It was that good. The waiter was really hot too. Best looking guy I've seen all weekend!

The drive back to Melbourne was pretty much the same as the drive up to Canberra. Stopped in a few towns, saw more dead animals by the road, ate more Macca's (I swear I'm not gonna eat McDonalds for the rest of the year) and finally got home just before midnight. SJ stayed over and we pretty much crashed as soon as we walked in the door. Felt sorry for VB. He had to be up again at 4am to catch an early flight to Brisbane. He was totally knackered from the drive.

It sure was good to be home. Canberra is truly not the holiday destination. They say it's the pron capital of Australia, but I hardly saw any Club X stores or any porn stores for that matter. Would've been nice to bring back a souvenior.

Lavish Again?

Was planning a quiet one at home on Friday night. But due to unforeseen circumstances (and also the 101 phone calls & sms-es I was getting throughout the night), I decided to shower, put on my party outfit and head out the door. Was supposed to meet everyone at a bar on Queens St. called Element Lounge. By the time I was on my merry way into the city, Ball Breaker rings me to tell me to meet her at Lavish instead. WTF? Lavish again? I was really in no mood to dance. All I wanted to do was sit at a bar and have a few drinks. I was certainly in the mood to get smashed! Lavish was rocking as usual. When I met up with Ball Breaker, she was drunk as a skunk and I didnt really get a chance to talk to her. She was so smashed, she was actually agressive. No shit, she even punched me in the face by accident. Bitch! She was knocking over the DJ console and harrasing all the DJs. I dont think the DJs were too impressed. Cutey kept telling me to "control your friend". Hahaha! BBs was there too with Groupie Lover. Ball Breaker wouldnt leave BBs alone trying to hump her on the dance floor.

What a surprise when VB walked into Lavish with Mr S. Just surprised, he's decided to come out with us after all this time. People were starting to leave him off the emailing list. He didnt stay for long. As a matter of fact, he was the first to leave. Princess Model didnt stay too long either. Was she in one of her moods again? What has KL done to you? Princess Model used to party till the sun came up. Strange.

MH came along as well. He brought two friends with him. This time he managed to have a longer conversation with Miss T. He said she was a lot friendlier than when he met her at Blvd the week before. From what I heard, he even scored a date with her to the Melbourne Aquarium! Good work. Also found out that Cutey has been organising lollies for MH. Aaah....I knew he had a vice somewhere. For someone who doesnt smoke or drink, the other alternative had to be some other sort of substance. He even had it the first time he went to Lavish with Kam. Atleast MH has been having a good time. MH was at Amber Lounge with his friends before rocking up to Lavish around 2.30am. He reckons Amber is no competition to Lavish. The place is small, smoky (being in the basement) and the crowd wasnt pleasant. Cutey will be pleased to hear that. Hung around with MH for a bit before calling it a night.

Mr S, Swing Sister and Ball Breaker all left just as MH got there. The animals went on to party at Q Bar (I think they went to there) and met up with The Terrorist. So Ball Breaker got terrorised again. Good work.

Bumping Into 501's Brother

Bumped into 501's brother at Blvd last Saturday. He even paid for my parking at the car park. Nice boy. The conversation we had:

Brother: Pat, long time no see!

Me: Hey, how are ya? Heard your brother's getting married.

Brother: Err...How do you know?

Me: I know everything, dont forget that. So, you need a date for the wedding?

Brother: As a matter of fact I do need a date. Wanna come as my date?

Me: Sure, call me....

As if I'm gonna show up to Trash's wedding. BBs and Shorty still havent received their invitations! There's no way I'm gonna go. Trash might think I'm desperate to see what lavish lifestyle she's marrying into. Ball Breaker will fill me in after the wedding anyway! What I'd really like to see is the diamond ring ..... 1, 2 or 3 carats.

Met up with Odie and MH yesterday. Took them to see Hippo at his new restaurant opposite Victoria Market. Was hoping the restaurant would be open in time for my birthday but doesnt look like it. Renovations are still in progress. Will write up on the restaurant once I've given it a go. Contemporary Korean cuisine, sounds delicious.

Break Into a Sweat

Was up early again on Sunday. I have this weird problem of not being able to sleep after drinking. Or maybe, just maybe I had one too many Jaeger Bombs and with the bloody Red Bull in it, it keeps me up. Picked TOT and Cutey up, then went over to BBs. We all went to badminton this time. It was terribly tiring. A combination of excessive alcohol consumption, excessive smoking, lack of sleep and lack of stamina, made our day at badminton extremely exhausting. But nevertheless it was good fun breaking into a sweat.

Cutey's mom had organised a party on Sunday being last day of Chinese New Year and all. How time flies, Chinese New Year is over now and so is summer. What a shame. I hope the weather doesnt chill down too quickly. I love the hot weather. Unfortunately, I had made plans to meet up with Odie after badminton, so I couldnt make it to the party, even though there was going to be Nasi Lemak there :-( Cutey was disappointed none of us could make it. Sorry babe. Went to Odie's hotel for a quick shower and then had dinner at Meshiya in QV. Once used to be a teppanyaki restaurant but now specialises in a la carte and bento box meals. The Chirashi Don was one of the best I've tasted with atleast 15 slices of sashimi and a good portion of fresh salad. Yummy! I've stucked to my promise of having a healthy meal after a workout. I so do not want to fall into Cutey's trap of having a huge meal every Sunday after badminton.

Kam had wanted MH and I to meet up with him, his girlfriend and 007 at some pub in Hawthorn to watch a live band. Unfortunately MH was not up for it after having a big night on Saturday. The poor boy is not much of a party animal. I think he's had enough of drinking for the week. Will drag him out on the weekend again though. I would've been happy to take MH if he wanted to go, but we went to The Lounge Downstairs instead for a coffee. MH didnt hang around with Odie and I for too long. We later found him at Golden Nugget pokies. Hah! Such a gambler. Hey, Ball Breaker he has one thing in common with you.....

Showing The Tourist Around

Was at home Friday night. Relaxed and well rested. Was supposed to meet Odie for dinner but I was too lazy to go all the way to her uncle's restaurant in Kew. MH was keen to go out for a few drinks. As mentioned previously, there was no chance of Odie taking him bar hopping or anything like that. Odie kept hassling me to take MH out but I just couldnt be f**ked. Rang Kam and asked him if he would take MH to Lavish. Thank God Kam was nice enough and agreed to pick MH up from his hotel. From what I heard MH had a good time. He hung out most of the night with 007 and then the boys took him to Platform One after Lavish! Wow. Even I havent been to Platform One.

Was up early on Saturday and met up with VB and Swing Sister for Yum Cha at Dragon Boat in Chinatown. Tried to get Odie and MH to come down for lunch too but they were still sleeping at 12! Did a bit of shopping with Swing Sister at Melbourne Central. Went into Cue and spent over $600 on two new suits. Better than spending it on alcohol. I've decided this year I'm going to spend more on clothes than drinking.

When Odie and MH finally got out of bed, we met up with them at 3 Degrees for a coffee. Ball Breaker came to join us for half an hour before heading off for B1's wedding preparations. So, she finally met MH. Any chance there? Princess Model and JC also came to join us at 3 Degrees. But instead of having coffee, they got right into the booze. JC's getting married and she's having her hen's night next weekend. Can you believe she's having the hen's night at a rave?? They are all going to the Future Music Festival which is on this Sunday at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl. Princess Model told me it's pretty much like Summadayze, same set up. Hope you girls have a blast of a time.

I will be off to Canberra this weekend with Samantha Jones. The b*tch needs to go to the Malaysian Consulate and as you do, I've agreed to accompany her on the drive up there. Thankfully, there's no need for me to drive. VB has promised to take us. Hang on a sec, if VB is driving, then I dont really need to go. Samantha Jones can just go with VB herself. Why does she need me there?

Picked MH and Princess Model up after dinner and headed down to Blvd for their first anniversary party. It was absolutely packed. The minute we got there, we were straight onto the Jaeger Bombs. I dont think MH was impressed. Let me put it this way, the guy doesnt drink (not much at all) or smoke. So, starting off the night with a shooter was quite a daunting task for him I guess. The surprise show up for the night was Shorty. She had told me earlier on that she was too tired and wasnt going to make it to Blvd. So, I was surprised to see her there. Just cant get away from a party, can she? It was a disaster for MH when I introduced Shorty to him. She kept taking him to the bar for more Jaeger Bombs. Poor boy. He did handle it quite well, but I think he's too scared to go out with me now. BBs and Liv were there too. Poor BBs, waited all night for me to get there so she could bitch about ST. And I didnt even know ST was BBs best friend. Really? You poor thing. Sorry, but she is annoying and terribly hard to handle when she's drunk. Liv, on the other hand is so funny when she's drunk. She loves to talk. She will talk to just about anyone and she doesnt stop! You're a great chick and I'm glad you think I'm "real". Not many people like me the way I am. Bad luck I say. BBs was highly highly intoxicated at Blvd. The woman dragged me to the bar and when I saw the tequila shots lined up, I ran for my life! Sorry babe. BBs was not happy with me, she ended up pouring the shot she bought for me on the floor. Well, I did offer to buy her another tequila shot but she refused.

Mr S and Swing Sister left early cos they had to work the next day. Mr S asked where VB was and I told him I had "forgotten" to invite him along to Blvd. Hah! VB had asked me during Yum Cha if I had a blog. WTF? Why is he asking me now? Apparently he's known about this blog ever since. Surely Miss 3 would've told him about it. Come on. Does he think I'm dumb? VB also wanted to know if I have written anything nasty about him on my blog. Keeping to my promise, I told him everything in the blog about him is NASTY! So, there should be no surprises when he does read it. But I bet he's been reading it from the very beginning. Sigh....

Princess Model left early as well along with Mr S and Swing Sister. She was irritated all night cos she waited ages at the bar and the new bar tender didnt even serve her. Princess Model finally got sick of it and decided to go home. Lucky I had MH with me. It was all good. I pretty much hung out with The Lesbians anyway. Said a quick hello to VVB and Sookie. I have no idea where they disappeared to the rest of the night.

007 showed up to Blvd fashionably late. I think he rocked up at 2am or thereabouts. MH was glad to see him. Atleast he had a friend. I told 007 and Kam that MH needed to get laid on Saturday and the boys were happy to take MH out after Blvd, but maybe MH wasnt too comfortable with them yet, so he opted to go home instead. It was a good night but I'm convinced MH thinks I'm an alcoholic lunatic. He did ask me before we headed down to Blvd if I liked to drink. I didnt warn him. Hahaha!

Odie Is In Town

My overview of the week.

Tuesday I had to attend a performance appraisal with my CEO and the fabulous results we achieved put her into a good mood. Lucky for me, the big boss likes to drink. So along with the rest of the Senior Management team, we headed to the Radisson Hotel in the city for a few drinks and a bite to eat. Unfortunately (maybe it is fortunate), nobody really likes to drink apart from the big boss and myself. So, we shared a bottle of Shaw & Smith Sauvignon Blanc. Not a bad drop from WA. I still prefer the wines from the Marlborough region though. When my CEO was asking people what they wanted to drink, I had only asked for a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. She then asked if I could manage a bottle with her. I was a little shy to say "only one bottle?" Ofcourse I could manage a bottle! So, we drank the night away and forgot about eating. What's new?

Took a break from the booze on Wednesday. Wasnt feeling too well anyway. By Wednesday evening I felt like a bomb had exploded in my head. The pounding and the heightened temperature made me realise that I was coming down with the flu or something of that nature. Bloody hell. Ball Breaker, Princess Model, Mr S, Swing Sister and HYC all caught up for drinks at Cookie and I just couldnt bring myself to join them. I havent really had a chance to catch up with Swing Sister since she got back from KL and she's busy working all this weekend. Damn! Sorry babe. The girls will do dinner next week or something ok? Ball Breaker filled me in on the goss from the night. They also met up with Fegg, WMDM and Ah Sook. Aaah....the oldies. Ball Breaker and Princess Model apparently had a discussion with Fegg about his love life. He's in a long distance relationship with someone he's not in love with. What the? So, he's not in love with her and she's not here. Not like the sex is great cos they aint getting any (not from each other anyway). So, why is he hanging on to her? Is it convenience? How can it be convenience when she's not even in the same continent? I'm sure there's more to it. Ball Breaker and Princess Model partied the night away till 1am in the morning. Animals. I was in bed, nursing a pounding headache from 9.30pm.

Didnt make it to work yesterday cos my throat was killing me. Surprisingly, when I got out of bed around 10am (after Ball Breaker woke me up!) I was feeling alot better. The throat was still sore but the headache had evaporated. Chilled out at home all day and then went to get a haircut in the evening. Yes, too ill to go to work but could still keep my hair appointment. I got my priorities right.

Odie finally arrived in Melbourne and caught up with her at Crown Casino last night. Odie is down from KL with baby and MH. Havent seen MH since high school back in KL and he's still not too bad looking. We had dinner at Cafe Greco and prior to that we met up with Cutey at The Conservatory. She was having her staff party there. What a coincidence. The food at Cafe Greco wasnt too bad. I had the chicken and mushroom rissotto which was quite good. The service was ok too. The only thing that striked me as weird was they wouldnt allow us to take away the leftovers. Odie had ordered enough food for herself and the baby, but by the time the food came, baby had fallen asleep and didnt get to eat. When we asked the waiter to put the food in a take away container, he said it was their restaurant policy that no take aways allowed. So, we had ordered food, baby had fallen asleep and the food just goes to waste and we still pay for it. WTF? I should really put in a complaint to the restaurant. This is unfair. It was beyond anyone's control that the baby fell asleep and didnt eat. So, in the end after dinner, Odie had to go to the food court to buy something for the baby to eat. Bloody hell.

After dinner, Odie, baby, MH, KT and myself went for a few drinks at Cafe Baci. This was the only place we could get a drink and a table outside. Filled Odie in on all the goss in Melbourne. The begining and end of friendships, the Melrose Place of Melbourne and the cool hang outs. Promised MH I would take him out clubbing or bar hopping seeing that he's stuck here with mother and baby, an unlikely chance of Odie taking him out for a few drinks. Kam came to join us after his staff dinner with Cutey. Cutey was supposed to come down after dinner as well, but decided Odeon was a better choice for her. Hmmmph! Kam has promised to take MH out to Lavish or Blvd. Oh good! I prepared MH for his introduction to Ball Breaker. Kam showed him a video clip of Ball Breaker at karaoke and MH thought she looked like a fun girl. You're not wrong there brother! She sure is a lot of fun!!! Cant wait till The Princess arrives from KL next week. We can all go to Lavish together! Woohoo....!

Went into the casino with MH and Kam. MH wanted me there as his lucky charm. We were on the Baccarat table and I had chosen 3 winning hands. The rate MH was slapping down the chips was making me nervous. He was betting $150 per hand! After winning 3 rounds, he doubles the bets. Before I could say "boo", everything he had won had been donated back to the casino fund. I dont know how people can gamble like that. Scary.

Princess Model was supposed to meet up with me last night after dinner. Instead I got a text message from her saying she had just been pulled over by the cops and slapped with a speeding fine. The poor thing was doing 55kph in a 40 zone. Damn! Atleast she didnt lose her license. I hope you're feeling better today babe. Be careful, no more speeding or drink driving.
