Christmas Has Come And Gone
Went to Gin Palace on Christmas night. Practically every establishment in Melbourne was closed on Christmas Day. Even the whole of Lygon St was dark and empty. Caught up with Miss 3 (finally) and VB. Mr S and Swing Sister came to join us as well. Miss 3 also had two friends come to meet us at Gin Palace. It was a good night, rather mellow. I had two revolting cocktails - never order cocktails at Gin Palace!! I ordered a Lychee Caipiroska and a French Martini and
Got Princess Model at around 9.30am and headed straight back to Docklands. It was Boxing Day and start of the mega, mega sales. I couldnt believe that Myer and David Jones actually opened their doors at 7am! And people actually lined up outside from 6am in anticipation to grab themselves a piece of the bargain. Now, that's dedication.
We had planned to hit the shops straight from the airport but as usual, the plan wasnt to be. Instead, Princess Model, Miss 3 and myself settled in to Liquid for a relaxing brunch while we waited for Marsha. The three of us were in serious discussion about this "blob". Sometimes, we just cant please everybody and at some stage, someone is going to get hurt. How my words can have such a profound effect on some people, I will never know. But I do thank you for the people who take the time to read my bulls**t. Anyway, back to the day, we ended up spending all morning at the Docklands and finally headed into the city at 2pm. It was a meat market in the city. Even the carpark at QV was full. It took us 20 minutes just to walk through Myer. Miss 3 bought 4 pairs of shoes. Geez, the woman does have a shoe fetish! And I totally understand where she's coming from. Princess Model was very good. She didnt buy a single thing! We had a late lunch at Ken Zan and Dopey joined us for some Sake towards the end of the afternoon. Swing Sister joined us at Ken Zan. She couldnt make it to shopping as she was still recovering from the night before. She was naughty, naughty, naughty!Cutey also came to meet us at Ken Zan and insisted we go shopping with her. By that stage, everyone was suffering from post shopping exhaustion. Miss 3 had organised for VB to make us dinner so we couldnt wait to leave the city and head there. Marsha didnt get to satisfy her addiction to alcohol all day and kept pestering us to go to Cookie for just one drink. Yum and November Cleo were at Cookie but nobody (well, apart from Marsha) was motivated enough for a Lychee Caipiroska. We ended up going straight to VB's.

MERRY CHRISTMAS
Not happy with her Kris Kringle!
Bbq on Saturday was great. We had Kris Kringle and everyone participated by binging a $20 gift. It was all good fun. Yum and November Cleo had bought groceries from Footscray and Richmond, upto $20 worth and wrapped it up as their Kris Kringle. Can you believe it? It was so funny. I ended up with the ingredients for making rice paper rolls! Marsha on the other hand was quite happy with her gift initially. She had scored a bottle of expensive shampoo and conditioner courtesy of The Cock but Yum swapped her for it with a box of Indomie Mi Goreng (courtesy of November Cleo!). We did not hear the end of it all day. I suspect we wil never hear the end of it well into the New Year. Marsha didnt even take her gift home. She left it with me. No complaints from me, atleast I scored to KK presents! Hah!
Swing Sister got up half way through the night to make noodles. She kept asking for a cooking bowl and nobody knew what she wanted. We only realised, when she said she needed a cooking bowl for the stove. What she really meant was, she needed a pot to cook the noodles in. Swing Sister, you are one in million! I'm sorry but I couldnt stop laughing for 10 minutes. Swing Sister is too funny and it's always such good fun with her around.
Mr S came after work and he got Swing Sister, Marsha and myself a beautiful Christmas gift. It was very thoughtful of him and I truly appreciate it. The three of us cant wait to get away for the weekend. Thank you Mr S :)
Marsha stayed the night and we had a cup of tea before finally going to bed at 2am, relatively early night I would say.

My Tarot Card
You are The Devil
Materiality. Material Force. Material temptation; sometimes obsession
The Devil is often a great card for business success; hard work and ambition.
Perhaps the most misunderstood of all the major arcana, the Devil is not really "Satan" at all, but Pan the half-goat nature god and/or Dionysius. These are gods of pleasure and abandon, of wild behavior and unbridled desires. This is a card about ambitions; it is also synonymous with temptation and addiction. On the flip side, however, the card can be a warning to someone who is too restrained, someone who never allows themselves to get passionate or messy or wild - or ambitious. This, too, is a form of enslavement. As a person, the Devil can stand for a man of money or erotic power, aggressive, controlling, or just persuasive. This is not to say a bad man, but certainly a powerful man who is hard to resist. The important thing is to remember that any chain is freely worn. In most cases, you are enslaved only because you allow it.
What Tarot Card are You?
Take the Test to Find Out.
So, you out there (you know who you are). Didnt I tell you I'm the Devil. Now this is proof! Dont forget "The Devil stands for erotic power". Hmmm..... "A powerful person who's hard to resist". Gee, this is so me! Is it really? Ball Breaker thinks I'm the Devil (period). I'm not that bad, am I? When I'm good, I'm good. When I'm bad, I'm better. Just remember good girls go to heaven and bad girls go everywhere. So, I'm bad and I go everywhere? Enough crap. I'm not sure if I believe any of this, but it does somewhat describe my personality. Princess Model and Ball Breaker, now I know why you guys think I'm evil! But this is why we get along so well. I corrupt you two, Ball Breaker brings us good luck cos she's The Wheel of Fortune and you, well you just make us spend, spend, spend cos you're The Empress and you make us believe we are princesses too. Wait till Swing Sister reads her tarot card as well!
Ball Breaker's tarot card:
You are The Wheel of Fortune
Good fortune and happiness but sometimes a species of
intoxication with success
The Wheel of Fortune is all about big things, luck, change, fortune. Almost always good fortune. You are lucky in all things that you do and happy with the things that come to you. Be careful that success does not go to your head however. Sometimes luck can change.

Sizzling Hot Weekend
Got there just in time to leave for Lavish. VB brought a friend M, who I've been told is the most annoying person on this planet. Thank God he didnt get a chance to talk to me that night. Also met Goofy, Azamat and Lord Mayor at St. Jerome's. Swing Sister celebrated her birthday with dinner at Ken Zan. I was expecting her to be smashed by the time I met up with her at St. Jerome's but she was still standing. Goofy met up with them at St Jerome's and he even brought her a present. How sweet.
Lavish was rocking. Hung out mainly with Yen and the lesbians. November Cleo is back in town. Will have to catch up with her for lunch some time this week. Cutey's mom was there and Yen brought her dad along as well. Seemed like a reunion for pensioner's. Now, that's mean. Cutey's mom is lovely and she's totally cool. Nice to see her there with another boyfriend. Azamat kept saying Yen's dad looks like a Char Kway Teow man. I couldnt stop pissing myself. Till now, I'm still thinking about how funny he looked. It's one of those "you had to be there" moments. Goofy was well, quite goofy. He kept asking me if I was avoiding him. Sorry, but I do have other friends too you know. The one thing I realised on the night is when men have a few drinks, they behave like an octopus. They cant keep their hands to themselves. But when women have a few drinks, we certainly dont grow six extra arms. Why do men think it's ok to become physical after a few drinks? What gives them the right to behave this way? I'm also beginning to think that perhaps some people out there are starting to mistaken my friendliness for being flirtatious.

Korean BBQ Again
Thought this song would be appropriate to sum up my weekend - "I love it" by Sneaky Sound System. I love my shoes and my handbags. I love my friends. I love a good party. I just love it all!
Spent Sunday on Smith St. having lunch and doing some shopping. As usual, could not resist buying a pair of shoes. What is with women and their shoes and handbags? I dont know, but I love it. On the way home, VB rang to invite us over for dinner. When I got home, Ball Breaker rang and decided to invite herself over for dinner as well, which was cool with me. I then spoke to Cutey and told her I was going to VB's for dinner. Before I could say anything further, she had already yelled out to TOT, Swing Sister and Mr S that they are all going to VB's for dinner. When I told VB, I dont think he was too pleased. I think he was hoping to have a quiet dinner with a selected few people. VB made pasta and it was delicious. True to his word when he said he could make a mean pasta. The food was so good that there wasnt enough to go around. VB even prepared dessert of strawberries and cream. Yummy :)
